I'm looking for a free pdf editor. I want to make some modifications to some pdf documents I have. With pdf being an open standard for so long now, I figured they might be easy to find, but everything I can find in Google is not freeware, or it's just a free trial.

I imagine some of you must have looked for something similar in the past, as I can't be the only one in need of something like this. :P
An extension that will open and edit pdf documents in OpenOffice will work, too. Has anyone come across either of these things that work well?

There is some professional software like Adobe Acrobat to edit PDFs directly but their prices are extremely high and operating is so complicated.

So converting PDF to word and edit them in MS Word would be more reasonable. There are many website providing free conversion service but it cost lots of time to waiting sometimes and the conversion quality is far from accurate.

From my long time experience of testing on them, I found AnyBizSoft PDF to Word Converter is a really superior one in that it can greatly preserve the original layout and all elements and supports convert password protected PDF files. Besides, batch conversion and fast rate are pretty helpful when I have a lot of files need to be converted.

After you edit it, you can use some free PDF Creator to save word as PDF format if necessary.

You all can have a free trial and sincerely hope they can do you some favor.

Warning:
AnyBizsoft pdf to word converter will only let you convert the first three pages. Other then that you will have to buy their program. Wish they would said that before wasting my time downloading the program.
