I know John won't come on here and actually debate, but he does read this thread. So I will say the same thing here I said to him via email. I stayed within RD's terms of service. I drove traffic that they certified as good. They owe me my money. My relationship as an advertiser with Google is completely besides the point. What if some of the traffic was from Yahoo or MSN? If Google wants to slap me for "deceptive traffic" (which frankly is ridiculous, I was using the KW destination URL and nothing more) then that is between me and Google.

I agree on this. There's nonsense if it's because of Google or arbs, or sort of. I hope RD is only buying time regarding this issue.

i forgot they had an old paypal email address ........ they contacted me to get the correct address , i gave it to them and got paid the next day , i did an online signature and had no problems . Good luck all ...... me i'm happy !

If Google had an issue with that then they would have addressed that through your Adwords account, not RD. I use the same strategy as you
do so it's not right if I get paid and you don't. I also drive traffic with Yahoo and M$.

Looks to me that you're being singled out because of the amount of money
involved. Best of luck getting this resolved!

Did you receive money? I think "generated" is only the new, better sounding word, for "hold"... If not the better...

but...

I looked into my mailaccount and saw this mail:

My Question was:
"Is the status-changing of the hold money from hold to generated a good
sign? Is it related to google or only to RD?

Answer:

"Yes, that is a good sign. It means your account has passed our upstream
advertising providers verification process and the payment process is
proceeding. I am still waiting on the final word on when your payment will

I really am happy for those of you who get paid. I personally am not inclined to believe I will ever see my money, but I would of course love to be proven wrong ;)

My payment is still "On Hold". $3K more or less. I would be happy to hear that you guys get paid too. The "Generated" ones are more likely to get paid than us, madpoet

I know many honest domainers who's payment is on hold and they are the ones who are owed lot's of money. I wonder if it's a business decision for RevenueDirect.com so they profit more???

I cant believe that. If RD really takes 35% for every cent of the revenue then they would shoot in her own legs whit such shortvisioned decision...

Although I respect everyone's right to an opinion, I have to whole-heartedly disagree with your statement. The entire "HOLD" issue was initiated by RD because their upstream provider had to verify earnings. I also wouldn't be surprised if the provider withheld payments to RD for these accounts until this review was done. I admit it has been a stressful process, but I am one that is owed a fairly large sum and my account is no longer on "HOLD" status. Besides that, they may not be done with the whole process and those other domainers could very well still be paid once their accounts have been verified. RD has been around for a while and has built up a good reputation.
Why would they suddenly turn into thiefs for no apparent reason?

Why would they put all these user's payments on "HOLD" and then suddenly 10 days later decide to pay us if it wasn't anything to do with their upstream provider?

Not trying to bite anyone's head off here. It's just my honest opinion. I was curious and worried in the beginning of all this too. I feel much better now.

I would tend to agree with you, with one exception... our agreement is with RD. Not with their upstream provider. RD is the one obligated to pay us. As I said before, I am not calling them thieves or saying they are trying to rip me off. I just want them to live up to the terms of our agreement, the same as I have to.

Hey MP,

I think we know you have a unique situation. I hope you do get paid. I just don't know if RD is willing to front the bill if "upstream provider" doesn't pay them for your traffic. Even though, as you say, RD is responsible for your payment. I do agree with that. That's where it gets dicey.

Now, i've check my account status from "generated" to "pending"
it seems it's closed to be paid :)

My revenues were on hold too, but today changed to "pending" status and I just got my full payment in my paypal account. This is really good news.
