    LLLL.net COUNTDOWN

Yeah as I posted above its definitely not true. Apparently just someone trying to hype them up. I'm sure if that many were ever really bought more people would be talking about it than an anonymous guy posting blog comments.

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

This is very different though. With NNNNN there is a distinct difference between other numeric domains such as NNNNNN making them much more desirable. With VCVCV there is no way to really determine if they are worth any more than a CVCVC or any of the other 30 combinations for that matter, so...

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

No, there are many more CVCVCs left than VCVCV due to the fact there are many more of them 21*5*21*5*21 = 231525 > 5*21*5*21*5 = 55125 There are about 120k CVCVC left (~52%) and about 26k VCVCV left (~49%).

    LLLL.net COUNTDOWN

Haha yep. I see all kind of numbers thrown out and many people disagree over which category Y should fall into. The breakdown goes: 10,000 ("true" CVCV, meaning no Y anywhere) 4,400 (Y as vowel) 1,025 (Y as consonant) = 15,425 if you count all 3 as CVCV Really though all that matters is...

So then you wouldn't consider YODA or TOYO where the Y is a consonant to be CVCV? If you include Y as either a C or V (but not both in the same name) then there are actually 15425 possibilities.

Good point. I definitely agree and all the 5L pronouncables I've bought have been long term/hold out for end user type investments. If you are looking for a quick flip to earn a couple bucks I would pick a much more liquid short domain segment.

Haha no, but I did follow your sales thread pretty closely as I got quite a few premium LLLL.net myself, and figured your "test of the market" would be a good indicator. With your sales along with some of the other sales I've seem I'd say things are looking pretty good :) I agree, and I have...

    NNNNN.net Countdown

I agree with rkb, I think its a little premature for a countdown. It might not be a bad idea to pick up a couple really nice ones like zips or repeating numbers now, but as far as "buying them out" I think you money could be better spent in other places at this time. :imho:

Didn't you just post 600+ quad premium LLLL.nets for sale at double regfee within hours of the buyout, many of which I saw were sold? I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it at all, I think its great to be able to sell them that quick for such a great ROI and it brings good news for...

Exactly, I think it will probably take somewhere between 5-10 years before all 5L are bought out so its silly to start a countdown. However I think there are wise investments to be had now with nice pronouncables (Remember, premium pronouncable LLLL were mostly gone years before the LLLL buyout...

It doesn't have any negative meaning in English really, at least that I'm aware of. It is however viewed as a "lesser premium" number by some, and appears to be one of the most common numbers in those domains still available, meaning its less in demand.

I don't have a problem with 4. It just seems like 4 is one of the least popular among domainers at this time. And with so few not containing a 4 left, it made sense to take them. I have plenty with 4's as well.

These things are moving fast. I just pulled all the names that didn't contain a 4 off Michael's last available list and there were 900+ I scanned those and only 51 were still left, which I took, so I don't think there is anything without a 4 left unless any drop.

    Here's an update on the figures I posted 4 days ago about how many Prem + L are left for each number, along with the change (in the last 4 days) in parenthesis: Prem + U: 7994 (-291) Prem + W: 8203 (-65) Prem + Y: 8668 (-250) Prem + K: 9555 (-113) Prem + V: 10590 (-101) Prem + J: 10638...

    Did a quick analysis of how many are left for each Prem + L to get an idea of what letter may go next: Prem + W: 8268 Prem + U: 8285 Prem + Y: 8918 Prem + K: 9668 Prem + V: 10691 Prem + J: 10727 Prem + X: 11728 Prem + Z: 12164 Prem + Q: 15381 Note: These numbers are not exact as...

1184 all premiums left. From the sounds of this thread it seems like lots of people are moving on to other letters for good acronyms before wiping out all the premiums. Interesting.
