    LLLL.net COUNTDOWN

Yep, it makes sense why Y is more common than even some premium letters in the last position, because many pronounceables/CVCV sound good with a Y at the end.

There are quite a few more if you include all letters. That is whats left if you include premium, j, k, and u.

LLLLL.com (5 Letter) Sales and discussion thread

So I guess we know who is responsible now ;) Most people also consider H as premium as well so that's why I said there are some left. All premium VCVCV now have an H in them except these 2: EBIFI.COM OPIDE.COM And not all of the CVVCV and CVCVV with those letters were completely taken...

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

Looking more into it, it looks like a little over 3k VCVCV.com were taken in one day yesterday (the 30 days before that the average was about 20 VCVCV/day or 600/month). So it looks like the big drop is due to someone (or perhaps a couple people) making a large VCVCV buy. They could of course...

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

Looks like the pace of VCVCV regs has picked up quite a bit over the last couple weeks. Over the last 30 days ~3700 have been regged bringing the total left down to a little over 23k out of 55125. VCVCV has passed CVVCV in terms of percentage regged and is not too far from passing CVCVV...

I think you need to check whatever you are scanning with.

    LLLL.net COUNTDOWN

Those 423 were regged in 5 days not 1, so at that rate it would actually take almost 2500 days. Keep in mind the last few days have slower that usual with <100 /day (maybe due to the holiday weekend) but ever since the premium buyout we have seen an average of about 200-300 gone per day.

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

Here's a couple I got recently ending in OO or EE: pumoo.com puvoo.com fupee.com vabee.com vudee.com vufee.com vulee.com vunee.com wufee.com wutee.com zutee.com There are not many good ones left ending in these double vowels, and these were some of the best I found still...

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

I agree. I'm also a big fan of IE, IO, and IA for CVCVV as they tend to be very pronouncable. I picked up a few hundred of those along with some OO and EE last week. Here was some analysis of the last 2 letters of CVCVV that I did before I registered them: Last 2 letters | % remaining oo...

    Official VCVCV.com Countdown Thread

That is correct, there are fewer CVCVV and CVVCV left that VCVCV actually. They are fairly close though and from from my stats it looks like VCVCV are being regged at a slightly quicker pace over the last couple months, so either one of them could really be bought out first. The point of my...

    Short Domain Buyout Info

You could add a link to the table in this thread: http://www.namepros.com/short-domain-discussion/443417-some-5l-com-statistics.html It shows how many of each pattern of 5L.com are available.

LLLLL.com (5 Letter) Sales and discussion thread

I just picked up about 15 of these the other day actually. Only 4 left as of right now, better hurry :) VQVQV.COM QVQVQ.COM QLQLQ.COM LQLQL.COM A palindrome is a word that spelled backwards is the same as spelled forwards. So for 5L domains the first letter is the same as the last, and...

    LLLL.com Live Auction

I would reconsider holding the auction on a Saturday afternoon (here in the US) of a holiday weekend. Many people will be traveling and spending time with family over the weekend, and I think you turnout will be much lower than if it was held on a weekday like most auctions. I want to see...

    Let's define premium letters!

It's important to note that those are overall letter frequencies at any position in the word, not just the first position. To determine premium letters to make up acronyms, you should use the frequency of letters as the starting letter of a word only.

    LLLL.net COUNTDOWN

Yep, the pace has picked up a little and the last 2 days have seen the total available count go down around 400 each day.

There are currently 2888 triple premium with double letters (AABC, ABBC, or ABCC) left. List attached. Rep appreciated.

    Let's define premium letters!

I think you misunderstood my post. What I was saying is the there really is nothing official about "premium" letters. They were started by 3character.com and a generally accepted as ABCDEFGHILMNOPRST by most domainers. Whether these are the "true" premium letters does not matter for this...

    Some 5L.com statistics

Yep, a lot of people talk about VCVCV and CVCVC like they are the only 5L worth regging. That's one of the reasons I posted this, since it shows they are actually 3rd and 4th on the list (although the top 4 are all fairly close and quite a distance percentage wise ahead of the rest).
