I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

America has a history of supporting revolutions, for our own benefit. South American, Middle East, Africa. The details have a way of leaking out years later.

By the way, Syria sending their MERCENARIES to go fight and kill innocent civilians in Ukraine.
All dictators are the same mass murderers. First Putin helped Assad to mass kill syrian population, and now Assad sends his troops of assassins to kill innocent ukrainians for Putin.

Syria recruiting troops from its military to fight with Russian forces in Ukraine

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...n-use-of-middle-east-fighters-against-ukraine

"Up to 16,000 volunteers to be paid $3,000 a month – a sum up to 50 times a Syrian soldier’s monthly salary.

Syria’s military has begun recruiting troops from its own ranks to fight alongside Russian forces in Ukraine, promising payments of $3,000 a month – a sum up to 50 times a Syrian soldier’s monthly salary.

Enlistment notices have been posted on regime linked websites in recent days, including profiles linked to the 4th Division, one of Bashar al-Assad’s core units. One such advert states that troops who sign up will be fighting in Ukraine."

That doesn't mean the US forced anything in Ukraine. Those people were ukrainians protesting day and night during winter months in response to President Yanukovych's sudden decision not to sign a political association and free trade agreement with the European Union (EU), instead choosing closer ties to Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.

What a brave woman:-

"Anti-war protest during a live broadcast by Russia’s Channel One The employee’s name Maria Ovsyannikovaz, detained after “no to war” banner appeared. The banner also says that media is lying about what’s happening in Ukraine"

Edit:- she also pre-recorded message that was shared on social media after the live-television incident.

“What is happening in Ukraine is a crime. And Russia is the aggressor here. And responsibility for this aggression rests on the conscience of a single man: Vladimir Putin. My father is Ukrainian. My mother is Russian. And they’ve never been enemies. And this necklace I’m wearing is a symbol of that fact that Russia must immediately end this fratricidal war. And our fraternal peoples will still be able to make peace. Unfortunately, I’ve spent many of the last few years working for Channel One, doing Kremlin propaganda, and I’m deeply ashamed of this. Ashamed that I allowed lies to come from the TV screen. Ashamed that I allowed the zombification of Russian people. We were silent in 2014 when all this had just started. We didn’t protest when the Kremlin poisoned Navalny. We just silently watched this anti-human regime at work. And now the whole world has turned its back on us. And the next 10 generations won’t wash away the stain of this fratricidal war. We Russians are thinking and intelligent people. It’s in our power alone to stop all this madness. Go protest. Don’t be afraid of anything. They can’t lock us all away.”

Totally agree with every word this brave woman said. Hopefully her message has reached many Russian people and they start opening their eyes against the war crimes that the current russian Hitler is commiting against innocent civilians in Ukraine.

The Russian Hitler is determined to cause the highest level of terror and atrocities against the Ukrainian population.
His daily shelling of civilian buildings and civilian areas near no Ukrainian military installations demonstrates his willingness to cause as much terror and civilian deaths as possible.

The deranged dictator expected to invade Ukraine in two days, thinking that the Ukrainian population would welcome his invading troops and his dictatorship. Now that he has seen the reality and the will and strength of the Ukrainian people to fight for their country, the coward tyrant now only wants to cause the highest level of terror and death among civilians.

Russia keeps up pounding of Ukrainian cities amid ‘nightmare’ for civilians

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/mar/14/russia-ukraine-kyiv-air-strike-hostomel

"Russian forces have kept up their relentless bombardment of Ukraine’s major cities as the number of people fleeing the country neared 3 million, with the Red Cross describing conditions for those left behind as “nothing short of a nightmare”.

As Russian airstrikes and artillery fire continued to pound residential areas across the country, Ukrainian prosecutors said 90 children had now died in the conflict. The UN said it had confirmed 636 civilian deaths, but the real toll would be much higher."

The IMF says a Russian debt default is no longer ‘improbable’ after banks freeze half of Moscow’s foreign reserves.

https://fortune.com/2022/03/14/russia-sovereign-debt-default-imf-kristalina-georgieva-bonds/

More info -

Russia could default on its debt within days

https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/14/investing/russia-economy-default/index.html

Half of the country's foreign reserves — roughly $315 billion — have been frozen by Western sanctions imposed after the invasion of Ukraine, Russian finance minister Anton Siluanov said on Sunday. As a result, Moscow will repay creditors from "countries that are unfriendly" in rubles until the sanctions are lifted, he said.

Credit ratings agencies would likely consider Russia to be in default if Moscow misses payments or repays debt issued in dollars or euros with other currencies such as the ruble or China's yuan. A default could drive the few remaining foreign investors out of Russia and further isolate the country's crumbling economy.

The default could come as early as Wednesday, when Moscow needs to hand over $117 million in interest payments on dollar-denominated government bonds, according to JPMorgan Chase. Although Russia has issued bonds that can be repaid in multiple currencies since 2018, these payments must be made in US dollars.

"Russia has the money to service its debt, but cannot access it," she said during an interview on CBS' Face the Nation.

Last week, Fitch Ratings downgraded Russian debt, saying Moscow's willingness and ability to service its debts has been undermined and default "is imminent." The ratings agency also warned that Russia may attempt to repay creditors in specified countries in rubles.

Analysts at Capital Economics said that a default was already reflected in the price of Russia's dollar bonds, which have crashed to trade at just 20 cents on the dollar.

Yeah hopefully. This woman was willing to risk everything to do this, not only her job but 10 or 15 years of her life and possibly even her life, she knew the risks and still did it anyway.

It’s one of the bravest things I’ve seen throughout this conflict and it came from the Russian side.

Peace talks on pause till Tuesday,

Establishing a permanent ceasefire and providing Humanitarian assistance to the civilians who are running out of food and medicine should be at the very top of the list for these talks.

Important Notice:

A personal matter that is going to affect me in a very bad way,

Just received a letter indicating that I might be losing my Social Security Disability Benefits which includes Medicaid health Insurance.

I never thought that the forces of the status quo would go to this extent to silence my voice.

They have all my medical records and they know that at my age they are passing a death sentence on me by discontinuing my healthcare benefits.

At this point I am so distraught that I have to end my participation in this thread.

Thanks to all those who have been supportive of me.

Are you sure that is not just like a standard, boilerplate notice. It is extremely rare that Social Security would take away disability benefits unless something has seriously changed.

https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/disability/work.html

In most cases, you will continue to receive benefits as long as you have a disability. However, there are certain circumstances that may change your continuing eligibility for disability benefits. For example, your health may improve or you might go back to work.

The law requires that we review your case from time to time to verify that you still have a disability. We tell you if it is time to review your medical condition and we will keep you informed about your benefit status. Generally, if your health hasn’t improved, or if your disability still keeps you from working, you’ll continue to receive your benefits.

It might just be a standard review, required by law -

https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/text-cdrs-ussi.htm#:~:text=WHAT IS A CONTINUING DISABILITY,continuing disability review (CDR).

WHAT IS A CONTINUING DISABILITY REVIEW?

Social Security periodically reviews your medical impairment(s) to determine if you continue to have a disabling condition. If we determine that you are no longer disabled or blind, your benefits will stop.

We call this review a continuing disability review (CDR). The law requires us to perform a medical CDR at least once every three years, however, if you have a medical condition that is not expected to improve, we will still review your case, once every five to seven years. We will reach out to you to obtain updated information about your condition using the SSA-454 (Continuing Disability Review Report) or SSA-455 (Disability Update Report) form. Those who are eligible to receive the SSA-455 now have the option to complete the Disability Update Report (SSA-455) form online.

I don't know anything about your specific case, but I seriously doubt it is related to anyone trying to silence you.

There are multiple ways you can challenge it (if needed). You can generally find a lawyer willing to take these type of hard luck cases on a pro-bono basis.

I hope it all works out.

Thanks for your concern Brad,

My health conditions are still the same as in 2014 when I originally qualified for disability after getting injured in May of 2011 while working at the Green Tree Country Club Golf Course in West Texas and subsequently having a heart attack in Feb of 2012 right after being abandoned by the Zenith Insurance Company which at the time was handling the case for my work related injuries. Although I am now much older and I certainly can not work, but I very much miss my old job at the Golf Course where I enjoyed being outside all day.

Regardless of the reason the fact that they all of a sudden are focusing on me is very disturbing because usually they leave people who are over sixty alone.

I was reevaluated 3 years ago and still were considered to be disabled.

Nevertheless because of this my mind isn't working very well and I can't be much of a help with what is going on in the World anymore at least not until I find out what's going to happen to me.

The reason that I am so worried is because of a lot of the other things that have been happening to me over the years which tells me that perhaps someone out there is trying to get me for being so outspoken with certain issues since I have been an activist for many years now.

It all started over 40 years ago back when I submitted a poem for a contest held by Mr. Spok (the late Leonard Nimoy, bless his soul) which was supposed to describe the relationship between man and Robots in the future, it went something like this:

In the middle of a rainy night,

I was stopped by a dirty Robot,

It demanded to have my heart,

So that it could feel alright.

I wish you all the best of luck and hope that there will be peace in Ukraine soon.

This might sound a little funny at this point, but how about if all the World leaders (at least from 100 Countries including the Pope) gathered in Kyiv by tomorrow In show of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

IMO

Maybe not 100 countries, but it is a start.

Leaders of Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia traveling to Kyiv on European Union mission to show support for Ukraine as capital is being hit by Russian airstrikes.

As Russia stepped up its assault on Kyiv, the leaders of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia announced they would travel to Ukraine’s capital Tuesday on a European Union mission to show support for the country.

“The aim of the visit is to express the European Union’s unequivocal support for Ukraine and its freedom and independence,” Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said in a tweet.

He will be joined by Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Jaroslaw Kaczynski, who is Poland’s deputy prime minister for security and the leader of the conservative ruling party.
