This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I am not arguing with that. The top quality 2worders to sell if xxxx - will be with lots of tlds taken, high traffic volume, hot niches. And it's definitely uncertain when their time will come for more massive sales. In a few tens of my 2words I am ready to wait 2+ years, for sure.
Nothing is guaranteed, indeed.

Sorry to All for this never-ending xyz battle, will make no more remarks too.

dont stop talking or get mad just cause someone disagrees with u..that's lame.

if selling 2word xyz..or any xyz for that matter was that easy then we would all be rich and having 90percent of our folios in xyz. and xyz wouldn't probably cost 20cent to reg and run 1cent promos.

we all know this is not true. and it takes magic and witchcraft to have consistent 4 and 5 fig xyz sales.

Dude, you are completely missing my point. Also I never said selling xyz is easy. Matter of fact, I just congratulated a fellow domainer on a good sale, saying it's a good sign (for me for sure).
I've no idea what made you think I got mad, I apologized to people reading this, because they are clearly coming here to check sales, this thread is initially for posting sales only.

.
If dot com instead of $7.50 would cost $100 for registration and each renewal, ALL domainers would be screwed, there would be no business model at all.

That's where domain investing business model started; for free then a $100 /2y
(In 1996, my initial $5000 investment ... 50 domain names)

Regards

Name: Best Maritime Lawyer (com)
Venue: Dan
Price: $399.
Acquisition: 6.9 Dynadot
Hold Time: 5 Months

This one went cheap. There is consolation in the fact that Dan didn't take any commission.

w/e/m/i/x .org
Sales Venue: Afternic (Fast Transfer)
Sales Price: $699
Cost: $~4 on NP (about 3-4 months or so ago)

I received an offer on this name within a week of picking it up via whois for $300, sent a link to complete on Dan, never heard back. I then did a little more research and we mix is a crypto, as well as being taken in over 25 extensions. The name is also used in many website names , so I priced it at $999, last week doing some clean up and tweaking prices, I dropped it to $699 and it sold a few days later. Overall nice return and can keep rolling up into better names. If I held this name for longer I could have probably got 1-2k for the name, but rather sell now and find more quality names. Have a great Christmas everyone!

No Further Details.

Afternic Make offer (negotiated), hold time 1.5 years. Drop reg.

This domain was listed at 4k, reduced price to 3K bin and 2K min offer, to boost end of year sales. Got a 2k offer and was negotiated by Afternic brokers. I'm happy with the sale at this point.

Edit: payment received
