Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
You guys, I just read an article that said wearing underwear is unsafe on Infowars. They are being used by the lizard people to control your mind!!!

I need to "do the research" aka look at other obscure websites and youtube videos.

haha :xf.grin: yeah that one of the lizards is a good one... and the best is that there are people out there believing this sh*t. Poor lizards lol

You have to wonder if these same people in the army would refuse to wear helmets because they don't stop all the shrapnel.

Helmets are not effective at stopping bullets. Plus, the helmet only covers a small part of your body. What if you get shot in your leg? Checkmate.

In Colorado, They're Counting Gun Shot Fatalities as COVID Deaths

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katie...-gun-shot-fatalities-as-covid-deaths-n2581730

Everything you post is some anecdotal thing with a small sample size. There is never any empirical data.

The hospitals are not full of gunshot victims at the moment. They are full of unvaccinated people with COVID symptoms.

The rather amusing thing is anti-vaxxers want to count any death as vaccine related. An 82 year old got the vaccine, then bam, 2 months later died of a heart attack. Must be the vaccine!!!

The objective of the study was to evaluate the risk factors associated with lower COVID-19 vaccination rates in the United States. The study evaluated the effect of red-blue political affiliation, and the effect of the US state's average intelligence quotient (IQ) and per capita income on states vaccination rates. The study found that states with concomitantly lower income along with lower intelligence quotient (IQ) are less vaccinated while the states with higher income have higher vaccination rates even among those with lower intelligence quotients. These findings stayed significant after adjusting for red-blue political affiliation where states with red political affiliation have lower vaccination rates. Further study is needed to evaluate how to stop online misinformation among low-income low intelligence quotient states and whether such an effort will increase overall vaccination rates in the United States.

The arrogance is astounding.

Claiming to know more than the educated experts is arrogance.

I'm accepting and following their advice.

I wear a mask even though I have been fully vaccinated because I still care about others, and don't want to take the chance that I could still get infected and pass it on.

weird question and i understand your expression but i need to ask:

Does anyone else get e-symptoms of this virus? I mean its weird to me but i had to ask. ty. Maybe its something else like natural side effects of working on computers, but its so similar but without fevers.. Anyways, lol. Somethings really bug me.

on another note, i think im going to breakdown and get the vaccine. I know im only 51 but it still seems to be ok as long as its the pfizer one. Any opinions at all? ty

It may sound a bit harsh, but it is what it is.

From the study:

Conclusion:

"The southern United States including Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), Louisiana (LA),
Mississippi (MS), South Carolina (SC), Tennessee (TN) and New Mexico (NM) have the lowest
vaccination rates in the United States. The states with concomitantly lower income along with
lower intelligence quotient have decreased vaccination rates after adjusting for red-blue political
affiliation indicating these states are more vulnerable to online misinformation surrounding COVID-19.
The study also found that states with red political affiliation have significantly lower
vaccination rates
. Further study is needed to evaluate how to stop online misinformation among
lowest income-lowest intelligence quotient states and whether such an effort will increase
overall vaccination rates in the United States."

In my opinion, Trump has done an INCREDIBLE DAMAGE to the US going always against the use of face masks and always supporting conspiracy and misinformation theories.
If instead of Trump would be any of the previous republican presidents supporting face masks and science, republicans would have followed what his party leader said and the disastrous numbers of this pandemic would have been quite lower.
(A great amount of) his supporters and "believers" are still living under the conspiracy world and against science, and are still anti-masks, anti-vaxxers and and overall anti-science.

You should definitely get the vaccine, it will definitely increase your chances to live if you get infected by covid-19 by 99%. And mRNA vaccines are the most advanced, effective and also secure nowadays.
It is really a gift to have available these vaccines nowadays because they are saving hundreds of thousands of lives right now.

I did see a weird news headline about e-symptoms the other day, but ignored it because I thought it was obviously a joke.

Can you be more specific?

If you are concerned about the very slight risk of a bad reaction, I think you are probably safer getting AZ if you are over 50.

Many computers have CRT or Cathode Ray Tube, monitors that give off X-ray radiation that can affect your health, The computer radiation can cause cancer, tumors, miscarriage and birth defects, headaches and insomnia, You can avoid exposing yourself to this radiation by limiting your time using the computer or by increasing your distance from the computer.

The computers are made of heavy metals and dangerous chemicals, The heavy metals including Lead which can be found in the Cathode Ray Tube, the glass of the monitor, and the solder in the circuit board of the CPU.

what do you think about this excerpt i just found? its a 2014 excerpt.
