Sharing an interesting sale from Q1 2021:

Domain: H/u/m/i/c/o/r/n in king
Sale price: $1000
Sale Venue: Dan
Purchase Price: Handreg
Hold time: about 8 months

Was listed as BIN + make offer. Got initial offer of $500, negotiated up to $700 and finally $1000.

Not a dictionary word but used in slang to mean "Half human, half unicorn"; If this slang catches up in the future, this could be a one-word gem, if not a dud. Took the cash now, instead of future dreams, as I have a ton of those already in my portfolio

{Interesting fact about this sale: I noticed this domain in my Afternic "Pending sale" category on the day it expired actually. I went to my GoDaddy account to renew it, but could not find it. Called GoDaddy, they said it was normal procedure because of selling status, but manually reinstated it in my GD account and I renewed it for same $11.17. Today I got message about the sale. Also I checked this name on Afternic, .ORG is listed for $1,500 BIN, .COM I guess is around $10K. One week ago I lowered my .net and .org domains by half I think expecting somewhat better results, but I will probably be going back to higher prices, since there was no quick/obvious benefits, - one sale at $899. Even though not all of my domains are as good as this one that sold}
