This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Dan make offer, hold time 11 months. Drop reg.

I had mixed feelings about this one, and renewal was approaching and was unsure what to do about it. So I've added it to the discount/clearance tier. 24 hours later it sold.
Nice, what is the discount/clearance tier?

Nice, what is the discount/clearance tier?

From time to time I reduce price on hundreds of domains and keep that pricing for a while. Usually in the $200-$300 range (market price zone). In go the ones about to expire soon, and those which are weaker / I have mixed feeling about. Usually many buyers jump at the opportunity, and I get cashflow. What is left I either renew, sell at clearance on NP or let expire depending on the case.

Great thanks. And you only update the prices at DAN? Or also Afternic, Sedo etc?
AFAIK, there is no way for the user to "watch" a domain on DAN, so they would know if the price drops? This would be a cool feature. I wonder if Sedo/Afternic offers it?

nice...

like for basically all niches.. their potential basically never extends into org or net sales.. unless its mega prem names.. usually regged waaaaaaaay back.. so sales like this are rarity and oddity not commonality..and why newbies should never reg org or net in any niche..

how did u do on the many regs of net and org so far? ty

I agree with you that this is not the commonality that's why I didn't have second thoughts to sell it at that price. Most of my NFT hand regs were in .com and few good one in .net and .org.
This was the first offer I received in either .org or .net.
My NFTshop.net has the most visits, but no offer yet, because I have a high starting offer price. I am not in a rush to sell it.

But, in general my NFT domains have a constantly increasing number to their visits, so I am confident about this niche.

Sort of neither... or both.

I've just reactivated my own landers with price shown. This had $199 shown. There is a button that takes you to Dan / make offer. But buyer is already hinted/primed by then. So it's like a BIN in disguise. He offered me an extra $1.

This is to avoid double sale and protecting my Afternic account which is most important. I've had double sales too often and I'll only use BIN in one place now, namely Afternic.

Name: One/Home(.)eu
Venue: Dan
Price: 599 EUR (530 EUR net)

Registered in 2020, once renewed. This was one of the 4 .eu domains I registered as a test, and 2 of these have already been sold (the other one was one/bank(.)eu for 1k EUR). Not a bad STR :) I started registering lots of .eu names about a year ago, STR is just about the same as for .co-s (~4%), so it is a fun and lucrative niche. The problem is that other domainers think the same about it, so it is quite difficult to handreg great names these days :)

I wanted to add that it was a great experience, the domain was sold at 10:23, and I received payment to my Paypal at 12:55. Kudos to Dan!
