This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Sold for $5,000

NFT tech (.com)

Purchase price: $12
Hold time: 2 months
Sale Type: Outbound
Sold through GoDaddy broker, buyer paying commission so I get the full $5,000 less PayPal commission only.

This was cheap, but I agreed a deal with the buyer and because I am a man of my word decided to honor it.

This was my first outbound attempted by Telegram. Some of the crypto industry ceo's are hard to find emails for and it's becoming more common for them to be on messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Telegram.

Congratulations !
I think you sold it for too less, but it is fine if you are satisfied and happy.

Was this sold in 2018 ? or 2021? Your "hold time as two months" is why I am asking

Seller quite lucky as well :xf.wink: 5k in two months for a name I had zero competition for at all in GoDaddy expired auctions.

Truth is I changed my mind after agreeing to a 5k deal with the end user. We had a little heart to heart a few days later and because I am a man of my word I decided it was best to keep my integrity.

Yes the seller had a great deal, but when I originally contacted him I was only looking for 5k because that is what I thought I would be happy with. And being honest I am still happy. This name as gone to the right company.

Congratulations

Why did Godday agent contact you?

I contacted one end user only.

I was contacted by a GoDaddy broker because the buyer wanted to use his broker because he says he's always purchased his names that way so trusts that method.

Yeah after I told the buyer I changed my mind about the 5k I did put a 20k bin on the lander.

The thing I took into consideration was that even though tech is a great keyword, the main attraction of NFT's is the marketplaces and the items themselves.

There was already a company as well branding themselves around NFT Tech which potentially could have put off other end users from launching with the same brand.

So I considered all aspects and thought I am turning low $xx to mid $x,xxx in two months.

Also a consideration was that I also have NFTtrading (.com)

In my opinion NFT Trading is a much more relevant name in this niche because that is what is actually happening. NFT,s are being exchanged/traded.

So all in all I am content with my decision. WELL I THINK I AM:facepalm::ROFL:
