This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

By way of illustration, here is how the value proposition was explained to the buyer. This is a classic example of co-creating abundance while striking while it is hot. This buyer will do great. The seller also did great. Everyone wins.

Quick question, was your lander pointed at Epik (dns)?
Hi
Used epik.
My fastest transaction till date.
Buyer used hyphenated version of this domain and they are the only end user for this domain....So sold for that price...

Thank you

Because I use Dan to sell a lot of my names the transfer locks are not an issue if a transfer lock is in place.

Dan gives me the option of providing authorization code or pushing the domain name to their own personal escrow account with the same registrar I hold the domain with.

So obviously if there is a transfer lock, you just choose to push the domain to Dans own account and then they sort out the transfer options available with the buyer.

Congrats on your sale. Impressive.

But what could make someone price register Humanoider in king after you reported this and place a 100k euros as price? Perhaps he sees something but I think that is pretty higher.

Humanoid /s in German language (Emma - a humanoid [one of humanoids])

(after yr 2025, for -ly version we can get more than $200K bc only a couple of dict. words exist. So -ly suffix can be a very nice alternative )

Sale venue: Efty
Listing type: Buy it now
Listing upgrades: None
Seller: Me
Asking price: $500
Sale price: $500

$6 hand reg - 1/6/2020

A good price received for a double hyphenated name (you know how much I love them hyphens!!!)

Now had $1,000 in sales in a month so 10% of all set up costs recovered.

- sold today for $199, Dynadot user auction
- registered for $9.25 with Dynadot
- hold time 11 months
{Dynadot had a rule: a seller can withdraw proceeds to his bank account if the amount is $500 or higher; I need to check again though}

V o i c e S t u d e n t . c o m

- sold for $29 at GoDaddy auction last week
- registered a week ago(was sent to auction same day I guess)

{I sent around 650, mostly recently registered domains, to GoDaddy 7-day auction, priced $29, $39, $99, $199 etc., just to see how it works, assuming at least some would pick up and bring sales. But it did not happen. This one was the only one sold at starting price of $29 actually)
