Hello everyone,

I've been using a domain drop-catching service named CatchService.com for about six months and would like to share with you my experience using it.

Regarding the service itself, I think it was fine, I've had some success catching some good looking .com domains, Pricing was also reasonable.

All the past months were fine and whenever i face any sort of issue i reach out to the owner privately as he's a respected member of this amazing community. ( @Riz M. ) Until today, He managed to catch two domains for me and during checkout i learned that PayPal is no more an option to pay so i reached out and asked about that matter.

He confirmed that PayPal is no more an option and he only have two other options which I'm not so comfortable with, So i said fine, I will think it over and let him know where I'm at.

Surprisingly he was like, Think it over? Are you going to do board meeting for $36? ( Price of the current orders ) Which I'm not quite getting this line, Are you saying like you've reached a certain level of success that $36 is no longer a number for you? And the whole thing was about the payment method for the current orders and any potential future orders so i don't even understand why you said this. He followed up with : Anyways I'm just cancelling your orders and please do not place anymore orders. Before even i respond he went ahead and deleted my account from the site.

Poor move sir and so unprofessional. Nothing personal and I'm taking this public because you're a business, And this is my feedback for it.

@Riz M. Is my good friends and we did couple of trades as well . I know he is very professional and honest , closely following this thread I see two issues .

Misunderstanding between OP and Riz and as per my view it should have been handled in a bit polite way , but again mistakes happen to everyone and must be sorted out between both parties .
(PS: I am not a catchservice or rooted user)

Second is the way many people are trying to make Riz down doesn't look professional as well. Few people have jumped in this thread not to help both parties, just with revenge intensions as if they were waiting for such opportunity to Spoil Riz's image .

PS : I am also in that WhatsApp group which few people are targeting just because they were kicked out due to unethical practises ) .
'Be positive and be truthful'...your saying, now go back and read again the answers Riz gived and think about it. I don't know about any whatsapp group and most of us here don't have anything to do with it. This behavior it's not acceptable in Europe and I can bet it's not acceptable in US as well, if in Asia people don't have any issue with this, than you can't do to much. 'Be truthful' you say, but because you are his friend, you can't see any issue when he acts aggressive and rude, that's the way to go.

Well you don't need to think about Asia culture, again I am not going more here as you already shown your rudeness in your answer . Being honest doesn't require your certificate any ways .

Yes I am Riz's friend , doesn't mean I need your certificate for this . Riz would have handled it in polite way I already mentioned it but again this doesn't give right to everyone to just make him down , this thread is not about a scam or fraud, it's about the service which would have been done in polite way , and you people are targeting him intentionally .

My rudeness because debating what's correct and what's not and which culture allows it or not? Do you hear what you are saying? To take him down? He did that to himself, there were tons of other members here who were attacked way worse than him, but they didn't acted like him. MK from BB was attacked for months( right or wrong, doesn't matter) and he never replied in this manner. Rob from epik was attacked ten times more and he makes 100 times more money, but he still didn't replied rude and aggressive like him and I could go on and on.This is just showing what people will accept to do because they made some extra money because of him. You should change your saying or at least you should act accordingly.

I give reviews for each trade I make, but that doesn't mean I will not condemn the same guy if he makes anything wrong. And in the second you have a service that it's meant for the public, it's even worst. It's like there is a shop where everything is half the price of others and because I make money buying cheaper, I don't care when the owner acts aggressive and rude to others, I will just continue to do my shopping. This is not me and like me there are tons of others, to bad that there are others who continue to take his side when he is acting like this The main guys who should condemn him should have been exactly his customers, who are using his service, because if he acts like this now, he will act ten times worst when he will have ten times more customers and he will make ten times more money, this is the thing you don't understand, he is not gone correct by himself. You didn't asked yourself why, from the over 5k people who are checking this thread, the only one's defending him are a few friends or guys who made some money because of him? We will talk again in 1-2 years and we will see the results of his actions and than you can point out if I was wrong or right.

What exactly the misuse of service you are claiming?

I didnt even use your service in first place.

I registered my email and waited Admin approval to create my account which never happened for unkown reason

Long time ago I created an account with my 1st email and never received admin approval.

Few months ago I tried again creating an account with same email but I didnt receive email verification.

I suspected that you banned my email (maybe by mistake) so I tried creating an account with my 2nd email just for test and I immediately received verification email.

I was honest and I reported this to you by message! I told you exactly that I tried using my other email and it worked. And I gave you my email address. And I told you I am waiting for Admin approval

You just ignored and never replied back!

I can show the messages here in public if you like.

It is funny to accuse someone for misuse of service when he never used that service!!

The misuse was likely trying to create more than one account. Kinda shady if you ask me.

After reading the whole thread I can confidently say this is the worst response by a business owner I have ever seen. Way to drive people away from your ventures.

Just imagine you coming in and apologising to your customer, and saying you would reinstate their account and find a way to get payments sorted. Any normal person would be wary of a biz/person that closes your account as a result of them asking for help.

How many biz would rely solely on PayPal now knowing they can now pull the plug on you anytime? I wouldnt leave any balance over £5 in my PayPal account with the way they are creating problems for their customers. You just treated your customer the way PayPal treated you.

In fact, this customer's problem /PayPal problem allows you to introduce a Prepay solution for your business. They pay you in advance by Bank Transfer via or Western Union and the likes, and you have money upfront for names they haven't backordered yet. That is the point of feedback! Improve your services. Uggggghhhhh!

You owe me $2,000 for that free advice I just gave you there. ☺

Not really.. he banned my 1st account (at Admin approval stage) long before creating the 2nd one without any reason .. the 2nd account was just to test that I am banned. And I informed him about that I told him "it seems that my primary email is blocked in you system for some reason because my 2nd email worked" and I provided him with the email address.

What is shady about that?

To be honest I just thought it was an auto email blacklisting from his system for some reason, I didn't expect that he really banned my account because there was no reason for that, I didnt even log once to his system my account was banned from the pending admin approval stage.

This whole thread has sounded to me more like a playground spat than a real discussion or even a genuine disagreement. 6 year olds taking sides for taking sides' sake, no genuine reason discernible.

My suggestion is that we all keep our noses out and let these two behave like a couple of kids in their own space and time. We have no need to join them at that level. They'll probably sort it out quicker and easier that way, too. Whether they kiss and make up or go their separate ways is, frankly, nobody else's business.

So, you have PayPal in the T&C, you have used PayPal before and it was ok, you are in the middle of the checkout and there is no PayPal anymore. You contact the owner and he tells you that there is no PayPal anymore and you need to choose another payment option. You are saying something like 'let me think about what works better for me' and in the next second he says 'what, you need to think about it?' and closes your account and suspend your back orders. Now, please try the same thing with Sav, Dan, epik, godaddy, afternic, Bb, Sh, sedo, flippa and I could go on and on and let me know who will answer with the same disrespect. On top of that, everybody gives you hours if not days after they catched your domain, not before. You are either not using any of these services or you don't want to say it. It was a disrespectful thing and on top of that, you continue the same way over and over. Now, I can give you tens of examples from our industry that were attacked much worse and they behaved ten times better. The difference is that the one's who knew how to talk to their customers are still in business today.

we never ask for upfront payment until we catch name after we catch the name then buyer have to pay for backorder fees which is $18 and we dont do any auctions name is granted to one who order first.
