I never gave it much thought because Russia under Putin has been very practical and only looking out after their country's interests. What would be the point of such policy, what possibly could it accomplish?

Russia doesn't have the world's currency behind them and the unlimited budget. And they could not match military bases, propaganda, color revolutions, and NGO's that US has unleashed all over the world. If only America would start doing what is good for its own citizens everybody else would have to fall in place also. It is a colossal struggle against the deep state at this point.

Not only that but Putin knows there would be retribution when discovered. Something Iranians didn't worry about under Obama.

Her State of Minnesota has lots of Somalis... add to that a massive amount of Jackass self-hating whites voting for her and she's virtually guaranteed to be there for a long, long time!

A few less now. PDT ICE is deporting anyone on a temporary visa.

** PDT?? ICE! I really need to read my post before hitting save.

How about a MAGA cocktail? Vodka mixed with the tears of Democrats. Over ice.

Our children's children, regardless of their political stripes, will be crying :xf.cry:

I think the solutions to environmental problems are too important to be left to the edicts of the global elite and governments. They have an established track record of making things worse rather than better. And enrich themselves and their friends in the process.

Before all this Covid-19 came down on us, my work was with a lot of UN people and other leaders. They all hate Trump, of course, so I had to keep my opinions to myself. But many understood that governments ultimately will not give us solutions. Those need to come from the people.

Perhaps. But not because of anything that would have been different if we got rid of Trump.

If Biden/Harris get in, the press will cover up every one of their crimes, and the left will be too happy to criticize them for anything important. They will have a free hand to engage in corruption and oppression.

Agreed, personally I don't play follow the leader for, "when the people lead the leaders will follow."

Probably not, but at least he ought to have had the decency and compassion regarding the future of the world to sit at the table.

Why? Maybe he can have a better influence by avoiding the dog and pony show, the posers and liars, and not giving them credibility. People may stop idly believing that their governments will save them and take real action on their own.

They're worried because they fear a repeat of 2016... And Conservatives should also be worried because the Media and the Democrats are planning a massive amount of cheating!

they are behind worse than 2016 at this same time 50 days out.... I think they will turn to an out of country source at his point... they simply have no idea of what exactly to do ... without getting caught doing it IMO

Here is some reading related to the climate alarmism discussion, in the context of current wildfires.

Native American Burning And California's Wildfire Strategy [NPR]
Before 1800, several million acres burned every year in California due to both Indigenous burning and lightning-caused fires, far more than even the worst wildfire years today. Tribes used low-grade fires to shape the landscape, encouraging certain plants to grow both for tribal use and to attract game.

The arrival of Western settlers dramatically changed the fire regime.

"They came with their concepts of being afraid of fire," Goode says. "They didn't understand fire in the sense of the tool that it could be to create and what it did to help generate and rejuvenate the land. So they brought in suppression."

The U.S. Forest Service infamously had the "10 a.m. policy": to put out all forest fires by 10 a.m. the next day. Without regular fires to clear out underbrush, forests quickly became overgrown, creating the conditions for more extreme fires.

Prehistoric fire area and emissions from California's forests, woodlands, shrublands, and grasslands [Berkeley, pdf]
Approximately 1.8 million ha burned annually in California prehistorically (pre 1800). Our estimate of prehistoric annual area burned in California is 88% of the total annual wildfire area in the entire US during a decade (1994–2004) characterized as ‘‘extreme’’ regarding wildfires. The idea that US wildfire area of approximately two million ha annually is extreme is certainly a 20th or 21st century perspective. Skies were likely smoky much of the summer and fall in California during the prehistoric period. Increasing the spatial extent of fire in California is an important management objective.

Fires were used here by the first peoples to improve grasslands. To Thin chaparral and forests. To protect the health of the land. Our current policy is to grow the biggest pile of fuel over the largest area. And then spit and sue when the thick brush conflagrates every 50 years or so.

Shots fired, shots fired :)

Seriously though, you need to get past the news and understand the issues, because you don't want to be a product of the media and its spin. Probably all of us here can't go back to drinking media's kool aid again.

This is extremely dangerous to our monopoly:) The title is spun as if Trump is responsible for the state of the media. Media just doesn't want you to think for yourself.

our number one enemy is ignorance - Assange

Cannuk, you obviously have an affinity for environment and its place in your heritage, but you should acquaint yourself with the UN agenda 21 and get past the spin.

Our fellow Canadian and parasite, Maurice Smith, is one of the originators of the idea of carbon taxation which can control all economic activity and everything living. The problem with climate change policy is that its goal is to solely attribute everything on human activity without considering other factors like sun activity. Canadian Tim Ball and another canadian scientist who's name escapes me now showed errors in climate change science. But now, it is clear that this is just political propaganda and not science.

Lord Christopher Monckton himself:)

Cannuck, you are well aware of problems that residential school caused to your people and culture just by taking kids away from the security of their families. Our modern education school does something similarly sinister even if it has a different cover. Do you know there are laws on the books in Canada now that if you don't go along with your kids chosen gender your children can be taken away from you?

Another psychopathy of a UN program for european countries of sex education for children. Everything is documented.

This is just scratching these topics but nothing is really hidden if one wants to look further. This is why most of us think for ourselves once we understand the facts.
