Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Was a great sale, i don't think it's at the very top tier of VR domains (ie comparable keywords like games/video/p*rn etc), but that's what makes sale even better and shows the potential of VR domains if Virtual Reality fulfills it's potential.

Interested to see if it's investor or end user.

took small chance...regged today:

VR///skyline
.com

sold skyline//vr
.com

while back.. i think it was around $400

other than this i get lowballed maybe once a day on a VR name... today was VR//walkthrough//com turn.... guess its some vr investor lurking in some neighboring woods ;)

oh yeah.. some russian guy agreed to buy vr////go///.ca ... sent him to DAN to checkout.. waiting on that.. will keep posted.... .ca names are hardsales.. evenmore so in upcoming future techs like VR.. so this would be beyond cool if it finalizes!

cheers

I didn't invested in to many vr names, but I found WiredGlove in king and I think that it could work great for vr.

vr///train////ing is nice name!
i recently dropped vr//trai///ners but thats lesser quality name!

if what u just said is that u invested in com for vr///video then this is real nice..

my highest sale in vr to date remains suprisingly a longtail.. virtual////reality/////stocks.. in com.. for 6k........ also had a handful of 4 figure sales on stuff like VR////latex etc... and 10-20 3-figure sales in VR so far.... so that is my sale history so far... its not spectacular, but for one thing, my VR names are not spectacular like vr///life or vr////glasses or what not.... and neither is VR tech in spectacular state of development yet.. its all about the future... like a few other similar teks... all in all im going to hold on to a good 100 vr names long+shorts as future tech investment on my part...

@Martin Andrews I have seen many VRX names drop this year. I don't get where people thought that was going, but it doesn't seem to be gaining traction. Even if you do want to try VRX, I think you should be able to find premium keywords to go with it considering all the names that have dropped ... like games, sports, etc... though I wouldn't recommend it.

I'll give it a wide berth. Time to stay off this forum for a while. To many people giving out misinformation and bigging shit up.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

This site should be moderated better. Read a post on here yesterday about Domaining myths and it was nothing but people arguing off topic.

Gonna give this place a rest for a bit. Dont get me wrong theres loads of great advice on here, but a lot of misinformed advice too.

Wishing you well. I think it might be wise to stay tuned in, but keep your wallet tucked for a while. You’ll get a better understanding of who is credible, and learn better how to read between the lines. I agree that there has been an influx of poorly-informed and perhaps a bit “misguided” members recently. Follow Elad N. Follow Silentptnr. Follow JudgeMind. Follow Dave, Stub, Biggie...

Don’t just try to find out what the next trend will be. Try to really learn the industry. There’s no shortcut. And again, I truly wish you well.

So cool...congrats. I figured it was an end user, like LiveYourVRlife dot com looking for an upgrade. Can't wait to see how well it does going forward.

I could see opening a product site like SaltLife and selling VRlife promotional products. There's starting to be a cult that live & breath VR now.
