Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

And geo pot domains aren’t worth much in general, unless it’s a “planet” or “world” name. Otherwise, it’s catering to a tiny audience which defeats the purpose of the Internet.

There's alot of inventory ( including mine ) too go thru before anything beyond. Com sells. ( usa market ) , Most people can get various extensions for $12 why would they pay more?

Not to rain on anyone's parade, unless one is into the very long game. I'd throw New York Regionals into the long game and Florida as well. Sorry, these states are pretty far away from domain sales regionally. New York let's see. And see the rollout in New York that at a minimum would be regional sales in 2020 to 2021.

New Jersey is a now sale expect a great policy approved this Spring., that's happening. New York just solid rumors.

What do you think about camelcasing names with heavy abbreviations? They look sometimes clumsy when written according to the rules:

Might be too heavy to read, to look at the names within a list.

Would it be okay to omit a part of abbreviation? Looks lame rule wise, but much easier to read:

What do you think

If a name makes sense to the subject matter, people will likely understand it without camel casing. However, with random letters, words, abbreviations, etc; added to a specific keyword, or worse, multiple keywords, it becomes more difficult to understand, and therefore, camel casing may be useful to help clarify the name.

Keep the names relevant, viable, and ensure they make sense to the respective niche, and you won't have to worry about such trivial things, IMO.

USAcanna just sold for $700 on GD expired auctions

I was the 2nd highest bidder as 700 was my cut off!

Good luck to winner , great name!

(my last bid was 699 LOL 1 dollar off finish price, but I had to stick to my discipline and NOT go above my cutoff but I was veryyy temped to make another bid) wish I could of got it!

So Godaddy just emailed me saying Congratulations you won USAcanna ????? Winner did not pay or drop it ??? I DID NOT win....and no longer planned on paying for it !

They said I have 24 to complete purchase of $676 for the name ...my question ...CAB THEY MAKE ME PAY FOR IT ? I was the 2nd highest bidder and LOST ..I no longer think I want this name ....how can they make me pay for an auction I lost??

If I say no will they send it to the next bidder ? This isn’t something they would shut my account for is it ? I DID not win! ....should I call them ??

Can any of you see the name being of use to sites like

Cannamaps.com & WeedFinder.com ?

I mean as GEO websites in the pot sector ....would not USAcanna have value to sites like these ? Yet alone what other possibilities it could Futuristically have ?

I’m now on the 50/50 fence as I have the chance to obtain it . Though still a little over what I “wanted “ to get it for.
