Good luck with your sales!

My fist sale.

B/u/l/k/S/M/S/I/n/d/i/a/.com
Purchase price:
$20.17 ($12.00 from auctions plus $8.17 one year renewal)
Purchase Date: February 16, 2018
Sold Date: Sept 24, 2018
Price Sold: $4,500
Payout: $4,095 after commission.
Sales Venue: Undeveloped
Hold Time: 7 months

Inquiry actually came via Efty lander for an offer of $1,000. But I replied that the domain is available for the asking price of $4,500 only. The buyer replied about week later that the price is okay with him.
Switched the nameservers to Undeveloped and told him to initiate payment from their landing page and the rest is history. Waited for the transfer to hit my account before I reported the sale.

No outbound at all, and yes I was the only bidder for the domain. there had been three inquiries before this one. Initially has a BIN for $5,400 for the name. Then I made it a make offer only and received a $20 offer. So I changed it to $9,800 with a minimum offer. I received another inquiry but the person did not respond to me reply.

Finally reduced the price to $4,500 but I somehow think the buyer may have paid more if I had left the price for $9800 because he owns a bulk sms site.

Congratulations on a fantastic sale! But why didn't you do the transaction at Efty?

Congratulations on a fantastic sale! But why didn't you do the transaction at Efty?

Well, first because of the news of Payoneer Escrow shutdown. At first I thought Payoneer escrow had ceased though I later googled and found out it that was yet to happen.

Secondly, Escrow.com does not accept my country (thank God for other options); I had signed up with them and done the first phase of verification but when I submitted my utility bill and passport I later found out I could no longer sign into my account on their site. Contacted support and they said my country was one of the countries they do not provide their services. They had terminated my account. Well that's a blessing in disguise for me having now heard all the recent not-so-good news/complaints about them.

Undeveloped had the option of wire transfer to my local bank account which i preferred. With payoneer I will still have to do that transfer myself that after i had received funds into my Payoneer account (I later saw in my efty account that buyer had tried to initiate payment via payoneer before he contacted me again). Though the buyer suggested Paypal I told him a credit card payment via undeveloped was preferable for me. Paypal in recent times only accepted my country but am not sure it is flexible enough for me.

So, I usually calculate Undeveloped's escrow fee into my final prices, their wire transfer works well for me so far. Also, I have domains on Undeveloped and on Efty.

Would you please share the negotiation process. (Initial offer, number of days in negotiation, anything else interesting).

Yesterday sold:
RoofingPlace(dot)com
-Sale type: outbound
-Sale price: $130, after negotiation (my original price was $180)
-Purchase: a month ago at GoDaddy auction for $17.90

I offered to buyer to send him a domain first, and to pay me when it crosses to his GD account. He categorically demanded that we do the transaction via GoDaddy. So, he decreased my price by $50, and, practically, donated $65 to GD :!::?:
An interesting way to reasoning B-)

This has happened many times with me, people want to buy via GoDaddy but I tell them to pay me 20% more because of the commission. We end up using escrow.com.

How did you do Fast Transfer on a new name? I thought it needed to be over 60 days to qualify.

I first listed it on Afternic, and then opted in as usual via the link in the email the registrar sent out.

I havent shared any of my sales in quite a while, so I guess I'll share a recent .co

Skai/.co Registered 2/20/2018 for $3.
Sold 9/22/18 via Afternic: $2000

Afternic sales have been rare for me. I list all names as make offer on platforms, and I don't even like to respond when they ask me to set a buy now and floor, but it worked out this time.

Most of my sales come through my efty marketplace/landers followed by godaddy auctions, then sedo, then afternic.

nice sale.. p.s. efty marketplace sales/inquiries are probably like undeveloped market.. virtulaly nonexistent.. so I assume it'd be mostly all via their sale landers.. which is cool.

I'm all makeoffer too.. just wanted to ask.. do you sell a lot of .co names? out of how many roughly total? ty.

I started testing out .co last year. I might buy a couple hundred at a time when there is a great sale going on for like a few bucks. Then hold them for a year. I don't renew them though because of the renewal costs.

They have done very well for me, but I wouldn't be holding them for 3x the renewal fee of a .com.

In the last two years, I've invested less than $1,000 in .co(again with sales only), but have done about $15,000 in .co sales.(correction my investment has actually been about $1200 in .co's.)

Also regarding efty marketplace, I have had a few people find it and buy.

I sold 2 names to the same buyer who inquired about both searching my marketplace. $7,500 a piece.

I have just in the last few days started forwarding my domains to my marketplace rather than the landing pages.

Example http://www.FoodGrade.com
