We're all shocked your instant reflex is to side with a group that calls Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and the Family Research Council hate groups. JK.

We're shocked you dodged a simple question.

I didn't say anything about gay marriage but nice try at deflecting.

Maybe, you should read up on the groups you post? I gave you a link, read it.

And you have:
As for Gays being married, it devalues marriage.

So, how has your life been impacted since gay marriage is now legal?

Trump screwing around on his 3 wives, even when pregnant, maybe that devalues marriage? Cases like that.

Go right to source and ask the horse if he is a talking Horse of course.

See, like I said a few days ago. Animals have equal rights!!!! Lawyers will jump on anything.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A horse is listed as the plaintiff in a $100,000 lawsuit against the animal’s former Oregon owner, amid claims her negligence left him underweight and afflicted with other debilitating conditions.

Justice, an 8-year-old American Quarter Horse, is the plaintiff in the lawsuit filed Tuesday by the Animal Legal Defense Fund in Portland, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported .

The lawsuit against former owner Gwendolyn Vercher claims Justice will require special medical care for the rest of his life.

JUSTICE, an American Quarter Horse,
by and through his Guardian, Kim Mosiman, Plaintiff,

http://media.oregonlive.com/washingtoncounty_impact/other/horse lawsuit.pdf

The horse is in bad shape, look at the pics, 300 pounds underweight. It costs money to treat and for ongoing care. Money has to come from somewhere. So the guardian, Kim Mosiman, is taking action.

"Mosiman is the Executive Director of Sound Equine Options and is Justice’s guardian. She is the person responsible for Justice’s care and well-being. As such, Justice’s interests are
represented in this suit by and through Ms. Mosiman pursuant to ORCP 27(A)."

Now, if the horse actually takes the stand and starts talking, then that will be a story.

Horrible mistreatment, really awful but I am not flagging that issue. Its this dumb idea that lawsuits with animals in them even are allowed. The jerk horse owner when prosecuted, the Judge should have a court ordered fine covering future care. Not this precedent setting case. Afaik, first time a horse is an official plaintiff. Its probably a publicity stunt like so much recently.

Thanks for the pdf, the AP article mentioned nothing about the guardian. So, more fake news? That is an important detail. F the AP. Unbelievable, the lawsuit states Animals have equal rights, right in the lawsuit. So I imagine lawyers and any “guardians” suddenly appear to get free money. I wonder if the lawyer’s 30% cut of the contingency will be donated to animal rights, PETA or they use it to pay off their Mercedes?

What I see is money grab from a vet and lawyer making a bunch of money. They are going to operate on the horse and potentially amputate his penis. Horrible. Race horses once they break limbs they usually put them down. Same should happen in this case. The court system is already loaded, common sense asks why this sort of thing is even allowed seems off base.

FWIW, race horses are put down for a broken leg because of poor prognosis of healing. Because of the extremely thin bones, the weight of the horse, the need and consequences of severely restricted activity, it’s not like we break a bone and wear a cast for a few weeks - for most fractures the recovery is complicated and life threatening with low odds of success.

Hopefully prognosis for this horse with treatment is better, if not I agree - nobody’s doing him any favors!

I hate seeing these cases because treating animals as having equal rights plays into the hands of the so-called “animal rights” people. Well known groups that raise funds under the pretense of helping animals - but they don’t. Money goes towards their officers salaries and towards marketing and publicity. Their real agenda (well documented, research their leaders and their statements) is to end all domestic use of animals - food, pets, racing, service, military, seeing eye, everything. They keep this quiet because they would lose most of their support if people were aware, but if you look at their lawsuits and lobbying, it all points to their end goal.

Long story how granting equal rights plays into this, but if you research you will find it. Short form is that we have well established laws regarding peoples’ property. Animals with “equal rights” are not “property.”

It's cultural rot and devaluation of the high standard we should hold for marriage. If it's equal rights for two men to be married, why not three men?

Both can be true.

For that reaspn, I ended contributions to large organizations way back in time after the United Way Scandal in the 80’s. Private donations directly to those within your city or in need is much more worthwhile. I didn’t even think that Animal Rights organizations were of the same as the United Way. Even the Red Cross is bloated at the top.

Good! The local organizations need and appreciate it more. It’s not that those others (the animal related ones) are just bloated, they’re bloated, don’t do much except make noise, and in some cases downright deceptive about their purpose. And you know they don’t share that money locally!

All they have to do is ride a greyhound bus for $25 across state lines, free at taxpayers expense.

How can this be legal? Secret meetings with enemies of the state? Iran Collusion? Undermining current elected representatives and appointees? This is a great example of the revolving door of government political crooks, he is probably a puppet of Soros or other factions, illegally lobbying or whatever. First he gives Iran billions, then now this move.

“Kerry is coordinating his push with a group of officials who were his top advisers at the State Department, and who helped craft and negotiate the Iran deal in the first place. The group, called Diplomacy Works, has an advisory council that includes lead Iran-deal negotiator Wendy Sherman, former State Department chief of staff Jon Finer, and former spokeswoman Jen Psaki. “

“The group claims to be responsible for 100 news articles, 34 television and radio hits, and 37 opinion pieces on the Iran question. They do fact checks of criticisms of the agreement and blast them out to an e-mail list of nearly 4,000 policy makers and foreign policy experts.”
