I got caught by the bug in the last hour (or what I though was the last hour) and transferred a dozen more names in, mostly pronounceable LLLL.org and LLLL.net and a couple Chinese CCCC.com that I wanted to counteract my impulse to drop them. So basically: this is a way of forcing myself to own them an extra year or two.

You know... I think they were doing .me transfers earlier, too? Or am I mis-remembering that?

Now I've got a couple .me in my cart and a .info, and they are only applying the discount to the .info, not the .me's.

It doesn't include .me in this promotion. They've also just removed .io and .co recently

.me was included. I transferred 25 .me and .co names

I think the bottom line here is.. registrars make annual profits.. else they'd not be in this business.. and having made annual profit it is entirely up to them if they wanna set a chunk of it on free promos or etc... it still just means instead of making 10 million (example) they may make 9mil (example) after all promos and freebies
