As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
DataAlert.com (not mine) sold for $1,025 at GoDaddy expired auction today. Reg. in 1996
Too low for DataAler, imho. But I guess that's why someone's going to resell that for like xx,xxx

I've got a twitter account where I load up my domains to post hourly (and once the queue is finished it just starts again) here: twitter.com/AbleBrands. Without looking properly I would guess those name have been posted on Twitter at least a few times.

Well that's something I didn't know! Do you hold a large portfolio at BB? Still awaiting my first sale there

I got my Twitter account banned for this exact behavior.

I made my first two sales, both in the last 3 days. Both were through afternic, and buy it now. Both were .com.

n/v/m/b/e/r - $140
m/m/j/p/a/y - $210

Congrats! It shows 1540 domains. If you'd have around 3% sell-through that once was expected from BB, you should be selling a name every week )

Ha, not sure where you get brandable sales rate at 3% but... I wish!

Here is my account (I've blocked out the current pending sale). I'm averaging one sale every two weeks-ish. Balance in account this year $32,190. If we account $14,137 for renewals, that means I've only made $18,000 profit so far this year (2 months to go of course).

I will share a sale I made this week.
M a g n e t i c S u r g e r y c o m
I hand registered the domain in 2003.
I had the .net as well but let it drop years later as I wasn't sure the technology would ever take off.
The buyer was referred to Sedo through DomainTools link.
BIN of 7,888 U S D

thanks.
here, the buyer contacted me by email and we negotiated and agreed to sell for the price.
fyi, the buyer bought another name from me for usd 1k, but the sale pending at escrow, waiting for payment from the buyer.
usually I add $995 or below $1500 BIN for my average names. but for premium names, I ask $$$$$!

Good thinking to buy that name in 2015

That is some profit markup % if you bought that when xyz was on offer

But the name is so so hot at the moment because Ripple cryptocurrency eg XRP crypto coin you can buy 100 XRP coin for approx £17.00 at the mo

Very cheap imo

I thought so too - it's possibly the hottest emerging industry on the planet - that domain describes it and its a dot com - the perfect dot com domain of the moment

I think it was mid $xxx a few months ago.

I really like the name and think it would have been mid $xx,xxx if held longer, but $10k now was too good to turn down.
