Reagan was intelligent and had achievements in spite of his shortcomings, imagine if Gorbachev had to deal with Donald Dump ? The guy is so clueless and his own administration is incompetent.

He seems to thrive on chaos. I disagree about his admin, cabinet members are all serious, qualified people.

Bannon is scary but has an impress list of accomplishments.

Reagan != tRump
Not hating, it's a fact and a sad one. Reagen died of alzheimers dementia - not symptomatic in the early days of his administration.
Watch video of 45 from 10-15 years ago and tell me you don't see a decline in his verbal abilities and overall demeanor. Back then, he had a larger vocabulary and expressed himself much better. Now he keeps falling back to the same phrases and limited vocabulary. Alzheimers is hereditary, his father had it. His cognition is going до свидания.

I like current POTUS slightly less then I disliked the last two. I love the way he's making media and politicians look like stooges.

Reagan had some form of that mental condition in office. People noticed there was something about him but just thought it was his folksy cowboy or Hollywood ways or that he was just acting coy to keep the press back.

Looking back it makes sense.

It wasn't Alzheimers, it was the effects of being shot. He was already 70 and it took over a years to recover.

Just random letters accidentally tweeted by POTUS. US media had a conniption fit, even claiming accidental tweets like this could cause a gulp* war. One poor journalist spent sleepless hours worrying and waiting for it to be deleted.

Crazy.. but such is that state of the liberal media.

Yes. Its actually kinda stupid. Media, especially social media covered it to such extent that its everywhere you lay your eyes on.
I think that's also responsible for the #Covfefe domain registration frenzy. Almost every extension, even TLD's were registered within 24 hours of that silly tweet. :)

He was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 94.

The would-be assasin shot him in the chest. The bullet went through his lungs. He was not shot in the head.

Jim Brady was shot in the head during the attempt and left permanently disabled, though he could eventually walk and talk again somewhat. HIS death was attributed to complications of the gunshot wound.

There is a documentary about Reagan that includes interviews by his family, friends and WH staff. The man was 70 years old when he was shot. He went into a deep depression and it was a slow recovery.

The stress may have contributed but people who knew him disagree with you.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/when-did-ronald-reagan-have-alzheimers-the-debate-goes-on/

Noting he is not a physician, Brinkley said he found that Reagan's writings "never changed in format or tone" during eight years of daily journal inscriptions. Brinkley found just one Reagan reflection on mental alertness. Toward the end of is second term, the president noted he was unable to identify a once-familiar canyon as he flew over Southern California. Brinkley said Reagan "recognized his mind was not as sharp as it once was" but he did ultimately remember Topanga Canyon.

Brinkley chalks it up to "senioritis" and concludes, "I'm under the impression he did not have any signs of Alzheimer's as president. Until somebody puts up definitive medical evidence, we have to go with that."

Reagan's Alzheimers was diagnosed in '94, after he was out of office - I see nothing questioning whether the man had the disease or not. The only debate is whether or not he had symptoms of it while in office - no way to get a conclusive answer on that without going back in time. And yes, depression can mimic cognitive issues. Reagan was a pretty sharp guy to begin with.
Then there's 45 ... if you compare how he communicates now vs 10-15 years ago (look for interviews) there's a noticable difference and not in a good way.

I never said he didn't have dementia, just not while in office. As you've said, he was diagnosed Alz. 5 years after leaving office.

It was a common meme of the time, Reagan was stupid, had Alz., was too old, etc. That slander was a common theme by media and Hollywood from the beginning to the end of he presidency. They underestimated him, he kicked their asses.

The same type of crap said about Trump now, that's all.

For those haters of Israel...

Why is it impossible to boycott Israeli products?
People invent things, not corporations and countries (they just STEAL).

It is impossible to boycott those with the most wealth (usually from ill-gotten gains, public manipulation, family history that anyone today would face prison, even what people are doing today to get rich is criminal - look at the state of the environments they leave behind, the disgusting health issues they cause, etc.) as they suck up everything that humans need to evolve and survive, from homes to clean water, buy up patents and threaten others with ridiculously expensive lawyers that no one else can afford, steal others land, domineer over anyone else that they deem is inferior, force oil pipelines on other's sacred lands, making everyone else feel like there is no hope, bullying others putting them down, forcing them to try and stick up for themselves as they feel there is no hope, then following through their agendas, etc.

Good people don't make it impossible for others to boycott their 'products', they are just greedy and selfish and a stain on the evolution of humanity.

Thank God (or Elohim) the bloodsuckers never got their blood stained hands on the WWW and all the other things life changing inventions, so that they can keep getting richer and richer, and domineering over us.

Liberals just don't understand that. They believe that a wall is a waste of money and won't stop the illegals coming in. They just want open borders.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_insurgency_in_Mandatory_Palestine

The Jewish insurgency in Mandatory Palestine involved paramilitary actions carried out by Jewish underground groups against the British forces and officials in Mandatory Palestine between 1939 and 1948. The tensions between Jewish militant underground organizations and the British mandatory authorities rose from 1938 and intensified with the publication of the White Paper of 1939, which outlined new government policies which placed further restrictions on Jewish immigration and land purchases and declared the intention of giving independence to Palestine, with an Arab majority, within ten years. Though World War II brought relative calm, the tensions again escalated into an armed struggle towards the end of the war, when it became clear that the Axis Powers were close to defeat. The conflict lasted until the termination of the British Mandate for Palestine and the establishment of the State of Israel in May 1948.

The armed conflict escalated during the final phase of the World War II, when the Irgun declared a revolt in February 1944, ending the hiatus in operations it had begun in 1940.[2] Starting from the assassination of Lord Moyne in 1944, the Haganah actively opposed the Irgun and Lehi, in a period of inter-Jewish fighting known as The Hunting Season. However, in autumn 1945, after the end of the war the Haganah began a period of co-operation with the two other underground organizations, forming the Jewish Resistance Movement.[3] The Haganah refrained from direct confrontation with British forces, and concentrated its efforts on attacking British immigration control, while Irgun and Lehi attacked military and police targets.[3]The Resistance Movement dissolved in recriminations in July 1946 following the King David Hotel bombing, with Irgun and Lehi acting independently, while the main underground militia Haganah acted mainly in supporting Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine.[3] After the UN partition plan resolution was passed on 29 November 1947, the civil war between Palestinian Jews and Arabs eclipsed the previous tensions of both with the British.

Within Britain there were deep divisions over Palestine policy. Dozens of British soldiers, Jewish militants and civilians died during the campaigns of insurgency. The conflict led to heightened antisemitism in the UK and, in August 1947, after the hanging of two abducted British sergeants, to widespread anti-Jewish rioting across the UK.[4] The conflict caused tensions in Britain's relationship with the United States.

GILSAN, you can dislike dislike dislike, like a "coward" but where is your bravery?

Maybe you should body slam me into the ground because you cannot respond. BTW how that would have been a different situation if the victim of the attack hit their head on the corner of something hard, or they had a heart issue or other medical issue, all because they ASKED A F* QUESTION!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK HUMANITY!

Pervasive, persistent optimism is one of those uniquely human traits/flaws — we tend to believe things are better than they really are, or that negative consequences won't befall us, even if they befall others. It stands to reason that people would adjust their expectations when confronted with harsh reality, yet they don't. Our brains are to blame, according to a new study — we're wired to have a positive outlook.

F* ALL OF U.
