Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

"a ton of sales" is subjective concept. if u conider VR is barley born and 2016 being its year zero.. then most definitely there are already a ton of namebio VR sales.. into the several 100s I believe... plus many private ones too no doubt... it is in fact a mind blowing amount of sales.. private+public, for a niche in such early stages. so everything is relative.. and quite subjetive you see.

your list and regs are not working well. its not about random mixes of keywords .. 3d.. vr..my.. etc.. did you consider taking the advice from others and me to invest time into reading this thread (starting exactly on page1) + careful analysis of every namebio sales.... to get better idea on what is a quality or potential VR keyword...? it'll take many hours, but if you are serious about VR then its the only way... as I said it is not a magical mystic process and nobody here is a pro or expert (as you like to call such titles to others).. nor a magician for that matter (hehe)... or better than you. there are only those who invested the necessary time and hours into things, and those who did not.

I paid just over the $200 mark.

well.. many (endusers) like to have their adjective before VR.. and I don't blame them.. but.. others just like to have VR in front of their VR related domain.. no matter if its adjecrive or noun after.. like its some kind of industry standard to them.. or the only thing they saw or heard of before.. we gotta remember endusers are not domainers.. and allt he naming conventions known to domainers may not be known to them... endusers mostly see VR+kw on tv or what not.. and they'll soon think its the only way to own a VR domain.. so it'll all depend what enduser we get one day. let's hope we both make good roi. cheers.

Who does actually own a VRHeadSet here?

I had a Google cardboard only, but yesterday I received my first Gear VR, and man, I am hooked, it totally gives me goosebumps, I stayed for about 8 hours in it on and off, and today I showed my parents, they were in amazement, now I am convinced this is a TRUE revolution guys! It really is!!! It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, I can only imagine when the TV was first invented, that is how people felt! When you experience this, it totally changes everything, and now I respect all our VR domain names much much more! Amazing times we are in, so lucky! Cannot even imagine in 5 or 10 years, this is totally nuts, totally mind blowing!

I've had an Oculus Rift for about a year now which is awesome enough, but when I got the Touch controllers to go with it, that took the immersion to a whole other level again.

Having experienced so much that VR has to offer, it makes me laugh when people who haven't even tried it say it's just a fad like 3D TV.

VR is definitely the future and is here to stay

Basically you better go for the aftermarket in VR after your read the thread imho.

In other niches you got a better chance to get decent regfees if you know how to look.
