This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Just an example, I market 5 domains/week
20% is my ratio in my first initial contact (1 out of 5 sell right away)
40%-75% is my ratio with my 1st and 2nd followup(I usually drop price a little) then I do my long term followup...(this can be 6mo-1 year latter. The case of ModernFurnitureM*I*A*M*I in king)

My strategy is complex and different in many ways...however I sell MOST ALL of them.

Really in my mind ALL Geo's should sell at 100% ratio within 5-6years hold if you are pricing them in the $200-$1500 range.

so to sum up

Reg price - 1 and half dollar

Place/offer - inbound

Selling price - 199

Profit - after deducting paypal commission and registration price $178

P * i * p * e * A * r * t * . com
Purchase Price: $32
Purchase Date: June 2014
Sold: $1000

Offer came through Efty landing page - Closed the deal through Payoneer Escrow.

Had few offers in the past but no one offered more than $1000, so I decided to sell. It took me about a month to close the deal with this buyer. I wanted him to pay through Escrow .com but after his unsuccessful attempt of ID verification and the buyer almost backing out we tried Payoneer Escrow which turned out to be a wonderful experience. I want to thank @Brandon Abbey for staying on top of it, because it was weekend so I requested him to expedite the process.

These both got editors choice.. I only paid one for domain page upgrades for each. I'm testing godaddy auctions right now with their upgrades to see if it's a cheaper auction.

Little trick to flippa is going st no reserve. Your name gets put in the reserve met section which makes it more visible. Also if it gets lots of bids it get put in the most active section.

I have no problem spending money on upgrades if it's a really good name that I know will sell in at least mid $xxxx.. I like flippa because a lot of the buyers there are end users!

How much auction days you set usually at your flippa auction ?

Wow! A lot of inspiring sales on here. I'm still hoping to make my first sale. @maxtorz I've some "Geo+service" domain names in my portfolio, can you help me on how you go about selling at least one domain a week? Your inbound & outbound marketing tactics will be appreciated.

Sold D/e/p/o/r/t/y in com via afternic listing

Purchase price and date - 1 pound at fasthosts november 2016

listing price - 120

Sold at BIN

Profit - after deducting everything paypal, registration price and afternic commission
$90

it was rejected at BB since it was negative word with which i agree and found it fair, i then tried to sell here at NP for $5 nobody purchased offered to other people looking for brandables for less than 10, again all avoided. this made me list at afternic for 120, and now that it is sold, i think i under priced it, not sure anyways $90 profit not bad.
