Nice vid, thanks for posting it. Microsoft has its fanboys though, so some people will always go with a Microsoft made device even if it is not as good.
I actually think the biggest threat to HoloLens and what Microsoft are trying to do with HoloLens and ‘Mixed Reality’ is new VR devices like Lenovo that can do VR/AR(MR) and uses Windows Holographic – And are being deemed as ‘VR headsets’:-

“Lenovo’s headset has two cameras on the front, meaning that mixed-reality applications are possible even without the HoloLens’ optical projection capability.”

It’s a concern I’ve spoken about a few weeks ago with ‘Mixed Reality’ in how VR headsets also doing Mixed Reality could render the term redundant as it will always be promoted as VR (just as it was at CES), I said it that may happen in the next 6 years, but signs are that it may be happening already.
Another thing I picked up on in that video, is 1:26 to 1:40 – About
“VR/AR swallowing all personal computing as we know it” – Again this is something I’ve mentioned before as far as domains is concerned.
Obviously domains and the internet as we know is not changing any time soon, but if VR/AR/MR goes on to be the next tech revolution, not sure about anyone else but my aim is to sell domains pretty quickly while I can (3 to 5 years), not hold (7 to 10) and them only having collector value (not end-user).
