Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Just checked which press conference had the most success at CES 2017 up until now, it was Intel's and it was 100% about VR.
It's trending 3x more than the second place: http://www.ces.tech/News/CES-Social-(1)

VR-Country(.com) & VR-Island(.com)
Not many VR hyphen domains sold according to NB, other than VR-City 4,500 USD, VR-Smart.com 1,308 USD, but hopefully it will increase in the future.
Funny enough both unhyphenated versions are owned by someone, very active on this thread.

Virtual Reality Industry Forum launches

About 28 companies have come together to form the Virtual Reality Industry Forum to further the widespread availability to consumers of high quality audiovisual virtual reality (VR) experiences.

“VRIF
will seek to establish best practices to ensure a high quality user experience, and we believe this is crucial for the market to take off. We all expect that 2017 will be the year when intense consumer interest in VR spurs a quantum leap in the user experience.”

This is the last of the crazy, outdated, comical "innovations" that we will celebrate before immersive tech become mainstream, replacing the need for large, physical screens and in some cases, screens entirely. We'll be laughing at these kinds of devices and share them on social media in memes.

1/5/2017........

Telcos to ramp up use of virtual reality as 80% say they will deploy the technology for customers by 2020

Telecoms companies are set to invest in virtual reality, chatbots and purpose-built mobile apps in an effort to build stronger relationships with customers. This is according to new research from Oracle.

The research report, Can Virtual Experiences Replace Reality?, found that one third (33%) of marketing and sales leaders in the telecoms industry are losing touch with customers because their interactions are not always relevant.
