Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

I dont think anyone here is in a position to say this, and if you knew the buyer, you would know he has a lot of high quality names and has been doing this for a long time so can really afford to sell names at prices he is happy with. ;)

It was an incoming inquiry for vrsolution.com, after he bought it he asked to see any others that I had, we agreed sales on the next 3 over a week or so.

Yes I let them go low, as I told Giles at the time vrltd.com and vrcorp.com we're names that I would normally go much higher on, but I liked Giles, enjoyed doing business with him on the previous sales. I was turning about $480 into over $5K and he was looking at a longer term picture of turning the 5K into $50K

No I'm not starving but I'm also not greedy, what goes around comes around, I've have people sell me domains I really liked for lower than they could have, at the end of the day it's about building relationships. If Giles and family is ever in Cape Town or I am ever in Perth we know there's a fellow domainer to show around town.

Being personally happy with the ROI is all that matters.

Sometimes we all like to think we have domains that can achieve a better amount but sometimes that offer we dream of might never materialize.

Sometimes domaining is about moving some of our portfolio. There are likely to be occasions we might feel we moved domains on slightly cheaper than we would of liked and other occasions where the offer that comes in massively exceeds our expectations.

We can't always look into the future, offers are made in the present, future better offers may or may not ever come.

Decisions in domaining can be tough, a real battle in the moment of whether you should stick for a better offer or cash out ;)

Perfectly said Jimmy

There's so many VR domains and many opportunities to earn good ROI and even better create a good network of friends along the way :)

Well said, you have hit the nail on the head, its all about building relationships. I know I will certainly buy off you again if I ever need a specific name and it so nice doing business with people who are friendly and professional.

The cold beer is always waiting in Perth if you are ever over here ;)

Better go to the secondary market, at this point the game is difficult to find something good free, and the secondary market still has reasonable prices, this will change in a few months.

Welcome to the thread.

Sometimes it is not always a good idea to make a fast decision, you don't want the buyer to go cold but at the same time you do need to weigh up all the pros and cons.

There is always a counter offer option if you feel like the domain is worth more to you than the potential buyer is offering.

However if a strong enough offer comes in that you would be completely happy to accept, probably no point in dragging things out or getting too greedy.
