I'm not quite sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I wanted to start interacting in the community to learn more about domaining.

I just picked up recently a good amount of dot COM domains that are all in the bitcoin niche. I felt like it was a pretty huge niche and would have a showcase thread, but I searched and didn't see one.

If I understand correctly, you can only post your domains if it's in the specific niche showcase, so I took the initiative to begin one. If this is against the rules I apologize!

It is after all the new official acronym for bitcoin decreed by I forget what international governing body. Forex?

Because bitcoin does not have country attached to it. It has been categorized as a commodity like gold and as such it needs to start with X.

so they chose to call it XBT. has anyone seen an uptick on adoption of this new acronym? Please share the domains you've seem used.

Does no one understand or know or heard the news that XBT is NOW the official Acronym for Bitcoin by the international governing body ( I forget which) that handles Forex?

they said that since Bitcoin "has no country" it cannot use the "community created" designation of BTC if it wants to be treated as a tradeable currency or commodity. Actually they (whoever "they" are I forget) said that Bitcoin will be considered more a "commodity" rather than a currency. like Gold or Silver. and as such. MUST START with the Letter X.

so the question is. when will XBT become mainstream adopted if ever?

whoever let XBTWorld Drop must have not been bullish on the idea of XBT becoming mainstream or else would not have let this one drop plus if it was an "Accidental" drop. at the very least someone "out there" could have snatched this up on drop.


or I could be the loser here betting on XBT?

That should be $25,000. wait wait . did that $25K sell it to you for less than $250? or more? did you buy it aftermarket or after it dropped and it was "out in the open"?


Also. What the hell is going on with Bitcoin Domains exactly? why no action? is it really all because of that big dip in Bitcoin price not too long ago from $1200 per bitcoin to $200 per bitcoin?

or were Bitcoin domains always "stale" even prior to this "fall"?

I mean everyone knows about bitcoin and it's price is going up u now and holding at over $600 per bitcoin.

why isn't there much BUYING and SECURING of Bitcoin domains? I'm in most of the forums checking out people selling bitcoin domains with no bites.

Sometimes a domain name goes from investor to investor before finding an enduser. The buyer is not an enduser and yet im almost sure he won't accept anything under 1k If not much more. Chinabitcoins in com is asking 2k.
