This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Always good to report a sale but I think this name could have sold much higher with some marketing and patience

Sold a 2 word .com in educational niche a few weeks ago.

Inbound offer via Voodoo parked pages (I like voodoo, this is the second inbound so far via voodoo).

If your using a parked page, make sure you have that "This may be for sale" banner somewhere on your page where its EASY to see.

Anyway, bought it last year for $18.95 via Godaddy Closeouts and sold it for mid $$$.

Thanks!

Sold a 3L .io for $40 via NP

Took a stab at it and bought 7 good LLL.io between $35-45 dollars earlier this year. All are western premium or have 'AI' in them. Have not done much outbound. Results so far:

Sold one for $500 via inbound
Sold one for $40 via NP

Profitable so far but debating whether to renew the last 5 when it comes time.

A very rare are non-4L sale for me tonight.

Domain name: Raleigh/Media dot com
Sale venue: Listed "Buy it now" on Afternic but I received an email offer directly from buyer.
Seller: Me
Asking price: $495
Sale price: $325
Details:
Received an initial offer for $150.
I countered with $495 (Which was the price on Afternic).
Received a new offer for $300.
We settled for $325 which is right in the middle between the initial offer and my initial asked price.

I purchased the domain on March 29th 2016 on GD Closeouts for $18.47 ($10 + $8.47 for 1-year renewal).
