Just made a 2 Domain Sale to a single buyer, via GoDaddy, AMADRONE & AMADRONES, both in .com,very good Brandables for Drone sites/products,in my opinion. Sold the pair for $650. I think long term I could have got more, but I am in the midst of a terrible sales drought, I haven't had an offer or a sale in about two months. As luck would have it, over the past week, I have had a handful of offers via Voodoo parking & Sedo as well, and am negotiating a few sales,so I hope this marks an upward trend :-D

Thanks! I sold few more but with my own landing page for under 1,000 then I moved to Uni landing page last month and used their brokerage. So they appraised and quoted for me. The prices they quoted were 8,000-20,000 as they were either international names or surnames. But so far no success yet.

I hv switched to self brokering recently and hv lower some of the prices depending on popularity from search etc so I'm still trying to figure out about pricing as most of the CVCVC are names/surnames from developing countries like Nigeria, Brazil etc. I'm getting around 3-5 inquiries a day. I need to figure out how much they could afford or expecting.

For countries like Nigera, and other ones with low completion rates, best to sent a request offer, and be done with it. 99% of the time you will just spend time trying to educate someone who has no intention of paying more than reg fee.

Yes u r right!! I asked them to make offer but I believe it's far from their budget so they don't respond! Yes I include a link to the recent domain sales so they could get an idea of what's happening in the market.

I had one searched the name and made an offer of $15 before I quoted him and he told me that he needs the domain immediately LOL

You can do that, and even set up the deal for $15, then you have the problem of making them pay, they will never respond. If they are serious enough, they will followup with you on the request offer.

The one thing I do not like about DNS is the Free Price Quote, that many users feel like they are owed a free price quote.

I can't sell that domain for $15 as I found many people on LinkedIn with that name so I'll hold until someone can give a better offer.

To be honest, I am going through great experience using DNS. I believe most if not all inquiries are end users so at the end of the day it's their budget. And these people don't know how to register a domain name, don't know how to search names on GD, Sedo or Afternic. You can sell them names that are still available to register! (Sold one for USD6,XXX and will share once sale completes)!

I like DNS landing page because of their brandname. If people knows nothing about domains and when they land on it and Google then they will be pretty comfortable about the company etc Well that's what I think anyway because I was getting an average of 1,600 -4,000 visitors a day for my online store but I did not get as much inquiries as what I'm getting now.

I know you can't sell domains for $15, I am just saying even if you were to agree they would still not pay. This is the drama with such inquiries, a few a day, and 5-10 minutes on each one can really be a drag if not handled properly.
