Don't get me wrong I love brandables but not many of the ones I see are actually good.
I believe that many that have been listed on BB will never sell as they have really watered down the quality of the names and marketplace itself.

There are 4L listed there that are ugly and make no sense under a brandable perspective; let alone 5+ letters

The fact that BB even offers .LY names shows they couldn't care less about their customers (the startups). They might just trust that BB knows what they are doing and buy a .LY only to have to try and acquire a similar dot com down the line when their brand is suffering from their poor choice.

Of course, if they intentionally bought a .ly because they offer something specific to that area then fine. But most startups regret buying a name like these when they start growing and need better visibility through search.
Thank you @disaac81 for sharing. That was very well said. Something to emphasize / add to the conversation of the brandability of ccTLD's, is like you said most, not all.

Example: I googled "Most Popular .LY domain." Result #1 = DomainTyper below image is a link:

I agree. Some should not have been approved on BB. For example: qoovu/ruwwa/ruqoo/wiqoo/xuqoo belong in NP's Bargain Bin marketplace imho.

That is @Justin Matmor opinion. As he may or may not know, these domains were originally submitted by me. Then I sold them to a friendly NP member who I saw on the chat room for less than GoDaddy DDC reg fee. That buyer decided to resell the domains for slight.ly more. That buyer sold them to another buyer. That buyer sold them to another buyer.

The WHOIS info was never changed, hence why so many domain pushes were allowed in such a short amount of time. The 4th buyer emailed me requesting authorization codes to transfer the domains to their preferred registrar. I did so within 24 hours free of charge. I have provided @Justin Matmor further reasons why I believe they should have been accepted that were moved to other bb related threads.

Thank you for attempting to obfuscate the domains, but because these domains are unique 5L brandable domains, you will need to add more / and/or make domain an image to obfuscate the domain for etiquette if they aren't your domains that you believe bb should never have approved.

If we take xuqoo for example, even though it is BB approved, no one is willing to risk the $10 listing fee to publish on BB. Instead it has been parked in cyberspace somewhere.

To summarize:

I believe they should have been accepted, though, I'm no longer willing to invest $10 with bb to publish.

@Justin Matmor believes they shouldn't have been accepted, and something is wrong with bb's approval system ;)

With 30K names currently listed, I can forgive them if they made a mistake on only 5 names.

Only 5 domains? Haha, It's been fun @Justin Matmor , though, for the sake of taking the high route, I'd rather not publicly criticize YOUR domains that bb should not have accepted. Until next time... Thank you for understanding.

I really need some feedback from brandbucket
but they don't respond to my emails

does anybody know
how to contact them fast?

Their too busy sending out emails to other domain owners to get their domains listed for free. Must make the paying sellers annoyed right!

This was an issue I had with bb when working with a enduser who contacted me directed via WHOIS on a weekend. Why bb doesn't have somebody on call during weekends is beyond me...

Fast?
Pick up the phone and call them.

Hello Frank,

We apologize for the delayed response.

Since the sale was completed externally without a prior 30-day removal notification, you are still due 30% of the sales price and someone from our Sales department will be in contact with you directly to discuss this further.

Here is our seller policy that requires domains listed at BrandBucket not to be listed in any other marketplaces. To view the whole policy, please click the link below.

Please let me know if we can assist you with anything else.
Best,

Julia

@frank-germany Thank you for sharing!

It would appear bb doesn't want you selling to a WHOIS buyer, as some bb sellers suggested I did when I was contacted via WHOIS for my last bb sale ie lose out on 30% commission.

the problem is I was waiting for them to tell me if there are issues when I sell outside
but no reaction

so I sold it for a mediocre price
at least sold it

now their 30% fee
will make me lose money

You're preaching to the choir brother man! This is why I HIGHLY disagree with paying $10 listing fee's + domain exclusivity.

another domain of mine is marked as SOLD in the published domain listing

and I recieved an email several days ago
instructing me as the buyer how to verify the credit card payment

I told them that I am not the buyer but the seller
---no reaction at all -

they didn't notify me of a sale is pending

nor did they inform me about the correction of the email error

simply : no reaction at all

the domain I sold privately was listed in 9/2015 with them
so for my understanding the 6 month exclusive period was over

I think they require exclusivity for the entire lifetime of the listing.

You clearly broke the rules. If you sell whilst your name is listed or if you sell within 30 days after you advise BB that you want to remove the name from BB, you must pay BB a commission.

ok

but I told them multiple times to take it off the listing

-- no reply

Absolutely incorrect.
The listing rules are clearly outlined on their website.

Sorry, yes if you emailed them already then it is only 30 days from the email.

If you still have the email send it to them as evidence so you will not need to pay anything to them.

I even emailed michaeljkrell
and sales on 2 june to remove it
- no reply

if they would have told me straight away
that I need to pay 30% of the listing price
which is twice as high as my sales price
I would have delayed the sale
