Very simple :

Godaddy is complicated
Godaddy is confusing

Uniregistry is simple and good and i get topcoins
Uniregistry has the best dashboard in the field

i guess Godaddy is just habit
there is really no reason for me to remain at Godaddy

"you dont discover new worlds,
if you do not have the courage, to leave the coastal"

the time will show it :

there is no alternate to Uniregistry

even to search for new domains is fun and makes sense

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
scrolling through my godaddy list now i see that one domain is in the red, due to renew in june. it's pretty well highlighted from the rest.

that's odd. i seem to get a dozen different emails warning me of the months away approach of each domains expiration date, even the ones i purposely set to do not auto renew

They gave me a date which they claim to have emailed me, I checked and checked with no results found. Granted I have 4 business's using the same email and nothing else is missing.
Doesn't matter tho..
I'll spend 10x that amount advertising the next register I settle with.

I was talking about the renewals and transfers part. With this:

"Then you can use the topcoins for renewals/transfers/regs at 35% max."

Is that public somewhere? Is there a place where people can just read to see how this actually works?

How can I use TopCoin?
Uniregistry customers can use TopCoin for up to 35% of your purchase of each domain registration, renewal or transfer. This is inclusive of all other discounts.

Looking at your reasoning for the your post title, "Why I transferred all my domains from Godaddy to Uniregistry?", you either seem like a salesman from Uniregistry or a really gullible person.

Topcoins? Seriously? That's a huge pyramid scheme. Call it reward points or something. It's not really a cryptocurrency, if it is I'd like to exchange them for bitcoins.

I own domains at every friggin registrar there is and most domainers while bidding don't really care where the domain is registered. An End user does. You won't believe how many deals have been cancelled because the domain wasn't registered at Godaddy. Even when I was not into domaining, I trusted only Godaddy. An End user is where the big bucks come from not Domainers.

I have tried Uniregistry market and it is complicated. Godaddy Tdnam is simple.

One of the domains I bought on Uniregistry was cancelled and the money was reversed into my account after 21 days. With Godaddy the money is reversed within 2-3 days because it is a registered company in India, also I don't have to pay international transaction fee. Godaddy has a live support line that is local. I can call from my country and not be charged zillions in calling fee. I have saved so much time, also received discounts on calls.

The only reason I tried Uniregistry was because of Frank Schilling. The same guy who owns multiple gtlds, one of them being .lol.

Their renewal and transfer price for .lol is double than competing registrars and they friggin own the tld.

LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL.LOL

I know that Frank Schilling has partnered with Daniel Negari on many new ventures and must have learned from him that only way to be successful is being loud. So I'm guessing you were paid to write this thread.

This is one of those cases where it would be really awesome to shoot the messenger.

does uniregistry allow you to sync all of your domains to the same expiration date?

Is there a Uniregistry rep here on NP?
And do they have a affiliate program?

GoDaddy is the best.

.99 cent newly registered dot com domains with coupon codes

No registrar can beat that price.
.

As far as I know those coupons are a thing of the past. I'm sure they were tired of taking on the onslaught. Regardless, the domain discount club makes it so the prices are the lowest around. Agreed.

I own domains at every friggin registrar there is and most domainers while bidding don't really care where the domain is registered. An End user does. You won't believe how many deals have been cancelled because the domain wasn't registered at Godaddy.
.

I'd think the opposite to some degree. I've never had a deal fall through with an end user because of the registrar it's currently at. If it's a buyer that's worth the time, than the registrar should be an afterthought. I'd agree that godaddy is just all around easier because a lot of us use it, but most buyers don't hesitate to transfer the domain to their preferred.

I have a couple hundred top coins. I have no idea what value they actually hold. I'd have to agree, and assume next to nil. Just some promo bs.

I have deals fall through. Although I saved one of them after I assured the end user that I will transfer the domain to Godaddy, renew it through 2024 and push it to his account becaues It was huge ROI deal.

Not all end users are motivated to buy names. I'm not someone who waits, I'm someone who flips.
Godaddy is really great for Flippers dealing with End Users.

Enough people use and like uniregistry that I have to believe they provide a great service. If I had a need for Whois privacy, and was just holding for development, I'd give them a try.

I stick with GoDaddy because of price, acceptance by end users and a robust marketplace. More end users search for domains at Godaddy, and if they search for my name, they immediately have the opportunity to buy it.

Even as a domainer, I no longer wish to have dozens of registrar accounts, so I am much more likely to buy from a seller when the name is at GoDaddy, particularly on low end stuff where I don't want to spend another 8 bucks and hassle to transfer.

100 % the highest possible amount of 'lol' in a .lol domain

loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.lol

PREMIUM 63.DOMAIN
1 'l', 61 'o's', 1 'l' / TLD

It's great to know that .lol is from UNIREGISTRY because I think I will transfer all my domains to them some sunny day - than my .lol domains will be there also.

See some people crying out the TS is paid, so I'll fill in with my version.

I too am currently moving my .com's and new gTLD:s to Uniregistry. Easy choice, they are in constant development not like Godaddy who don't give a shit about bugs that's been there for years. And don't get me started on productivity-killers as Namecheap. Only let down is the lack of ccTLD support and the pricing on the few they have.

Thanx - maybe I will sell them to UNIREGISTRY itself before renewing or transferring them.

I understand for someone with a lot of domain names emails can get lost in the shuffle of your inbox, but I did look into the issue for @SirDrago yesterday and we sent many emails informing him that the domain would expire, and then that it did expire and then that it would be lost. Auto renew was not set from the logs I checked and the name had expired and is now owned by someone else. I really feel bad for the customer who lost it but we cannot take a domain from someone who owns it after it expires from an account. We gave the normal redemption period so it was in the account expired for 42 days and we park the nameservers after it expires to try and get some extra attention on the fact that the name is expired in case you are not checking your email on the account. I spent a while looking into this yesterday and we sent many emails about the domain as we normally do for any expiring name, the emails we sent also say that the name is not set up on auto renew. We do a lot to make sure that customers know that their domains are coming up for renewal.

I am transferring all my domains to Uniregistry because they gave me special pricing. No coupon needed, No extra fee!

Also, they are working hard to make domaining easier.

The interface is also stupid simple and you get free whois protection.

Don't spend for DiscountClub, ask for custom pricing.

Your claiming I didn't have auto renew on yet I'm positive I did.
The customer rep couldn't even see that I owned it.

Actual chat log which I saved for legal review...
Randy -
it will be just a moment while I bring up your account, is that a domain that you need to keep?
you -
Yes, I had Auto Renew on it as well.
Randy -
I am researching it, wow you have some really good names on your account :)
you -
Thank you
Randy -
do you have another account? I don't see that domain was on this one
you -
I only have one account, this one.
Randy -
ok, I'm still working on it :)

I had to repeatedly ask for him to file a complaint and asked for a confirmation number of my complaint. To the point of asking to be elevated to management. He stalled as long as possible before giving me a email of a supervisor.

GoDaddy is the best.

GoDaddy has the best 24/7 customer service with the lowest prices.

No registrar can beat that price.

GoDaddy is listed on Nasdaq with almost $5 Billion, not million, $5 Billion market cap.

It's a real company that you can trust with your names, websites, hosting, etc.

No reason to switch to any other registrar.

GoDaddy is #1.
Godaddy is habit
Godaddy is complicated
your codes work only in America
and only for 1 domain

@Michael Ehrhardt Have you ever tried redeeming those Topcoins? I don't get how it works.. I have 100 Topcoins but I cannot use them to purchase a $2 domain.. it says "Max Rebate is applied". Can you please explain this to me?
YES
you can use this on extensions wich have regular prices
not on extensions wich have already reduced price

if you need more help talk to Sevan @ skype

How is the price $4.52? Is that for .com, net, org?
if you have an account and a discount , you pay 9,04 for a .com domain
and you get 50 % ( 4,52 topcoins - wich you can use to buy or renew )
so effectively the price is 4,52 $

if you need help add Sevan on skype ( domainsevan )

But it looks like those precious Topcoins can only be used for registering ultra-crappy ngtld's..

.tattoo, .sexy, .link, .gift, .guitars, .pics, .photo, .christmas, .blackfriday, .audio, .hiphop, .juegos, .hosting, .country, .property, .click, .diet, .help

According to Topcoin.com ..

I can't even get a $2 .xyz using those topcoins..

@Michael Ehrhardt Those $4.52 .com's are not discount, that's your salary (remuneration).. Uniregistry told you to try but it looks like you are trying too hard bro.
i am convinced , i dont need to try ;) just math

I'm grateful I came across this thread..
Just yesterday 4/13/2016 a single English dictionary word Domain was removed from my GD account. They claim the auto renew wasn't on but I'm 100% Positive it was.
Considering the purchase price and several offers received I estimate I lost 10K+
I spoke with live chat and Joe which suggested I contact the new owner and try to buy MY OWN domain back.

I will be looking into Uni to transfer out.

if you need help add Sevan @ skype ( domainsevan )

Godaddy.com : .poker 41,99$
Uniregistry.com : 3,88$ ( plus 1,94 topcoins )

any questions ?

Why .POKER?

.POKER is the only internet address that is dealing out domain names that are perfect for all things related to the game of Poker! You can bet that .POKER will make your website stand out among in the pack because a .POKER domain means that your site (and you!) are “all in” about poker and are truly dedicated to players and the game.

Poker is a multifaceted game, and therefore are many ways to use .POKER. Organize a local poker night on neighborhood.POKER. Attract players to a virtual table at play.POKER. Share tips and strategies with other players at strategy.POKER, or create a site featuring players that are at the top of their game at sharks.POKER.

.POKER domains are also perfect for Poker suppliers and online retail stores. Watch a video of how chips are made at chips.POKER or get a brand new deck of cards at shop.POKER

The possibilities are endless and we’re not bluffing, .POKER is an easy, effective and affordable way to help connect with the seemingly limitless appetite for Poker online! And, the best names are still in the deck!
