Heey !

Need some advice regarding setting up some landing pages for end users to look at. I'm aware of what needs to be posted up on the page, though, I just need a push in the right direction.

I need to create about 5 landing pages via a format other than wordpress, as wordpress installation on each domain would complicate things as my hosting server would go into overdrive.

Ive read up a few things about HTML landing pages which apparently proves to be good.. I have no knowledge when it comes to coding.. Are there some tools to for beginners like me to help me out with setting up HTML landing pages.. Or can someone suggest me another way that will be efficient and time saving when setting one up.

Open to suggestions, appreciate the help.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Changes I would make:

The text under the the domain name, "The domain is for sale! " is so tiny. I would increase that slightly, or edit the "make offer" text on top right button, to "buy domain". Reason being, everything else is so big... the stats beneath, the make offer button, etc-and the only text on top saying it's for sale is pale in comparison. A potential buyer may not know what he has to make an offer for also-so that button on the right should rather be, "Buy Domain" if you do not wish to add a banner/increase the font of the sales text.

Then, if you want the visitor to make an offer, create the field for an offer.

If you do want to display the stats section, etc, then I would suggest getting rid of the banner block under "Reasons to buy MegaDomain.com", and creating a two column under it with the reasons in the left column, and the contact form in the right... that way it is easier to read, and does not look like a long page-which can be off-putting especially since a potential buyer already knows why he/she wants the domain.

The "About Seller" section is not necessary. They will find this out from you when they make contact.

Just my opinion of course.

You wouldn't want to volunteer and write a better code For the email setup would you? :)

Errors are what gives us the experience :)

Being a beginner is the most exciting part of the journey as your are so hungry for knowledge.

Strongly agreed!!

I'm about to offer a reward to the person who figures out how to fix the Email problem I'm having!!!!
The above Template doesn't allow a buyer to submit their offer :'(

If you're really dedicated and willing to spend money then LeadPages is the best in the business imo.

Yes Lead Pages is great and it works as a standalone which is good; but honestly I would go with WP.

Easy to set up, easy to collect info. You just need to find the right tool and once you paid for it you can create as many landing pages as you like with no extra costs.
I found the tool that does everything I want but I don't know if I can post it here because I have an affiliate link...

So if you want to know maybe PM me? Unless the mods tell me I can post it ...

You can PM me the link and possibly give the "name" of that till tool here?

Wordpress installation for every domain you own?

Yes...I don't see the issue with that

Well depending on how many domains, your hosting server, might feel differently.

Maybe it's time to change your hosting provider?

My hosting provider handles my html files just fine.

Only suggestion that I can make is to make sure the template is "mobile friendly".

It seems you have everything sorted then.
Mine was just a suggestion as I much prefer WP over other things.

I suspect that the problem here is that he's mistakenly thinking that you need a new wordpress installation for every domain.

Hosting was never the issue to begin with :)

Correct, though I would love to know of a more simpler way, rather than multiple WP installations.

I think @photonmymind would like to know as well.

It looked to me like LeadPages and WP would play well together. It seems like the LP part would make it quick and easy to set up all the sales type pages and feaures on my WP sites.

What we need is a script/program that would allow us to upload that landing page to multiple pages at once.

You install wordpress once and then create one page or post per domain based on a template. You point all your domains to the same site and then use redirects ( eg using htaccess or a wordpress plugin ) to forward each domain to the appropriate page or post. Once setup, this would actually be much easier and faster than creating a different landing page for each domain.

Can this be done in PHP?

This sounds a bit complex for me....

But the point is : why not making a site to list ALL your domains instead of having a landing page on each one of them? If the goal is selling them then make a site and point every domain to it; that way those who come to your site via one of your names will also see all the others you have for sale.

It just seems to make more sense...

That would be overwhelming to potential clients, seeing 3000+ Domains can confuse a first time buyer.
I list approximately 20 on my site and explain that if they don't see what their looking for to please ask or send me a description of what their looking for.

Well it all depends on how many domains the OP owns clearly.

I'd prefer to have them all in one place sorted by categories or having them in 2-3 sites ( if I had a big portfolio )
One site could be for brandables, one for geo, one for emd for example. But it comes down to how the OP's portfolio is composed.

Wordpress gives you the ability to do both things simultaneously. You can have a main page with a searchable list of your domains plus individual pages for each domain. The individual pages can then be accessed either directly when entering the various domain names in the browser, or by clicking the domain name on your main list. That way someone that ends up on one of your landing pages can either fill in a price request form from that individual landing page or they can navigate from that page to your main list and view the other domains that you have available.
