It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

tons of talk about .club and .guru that are in the new gtld top 10...but what is going to happen when guru and others catch up to the next tier of domains that is .tel, .pro and .xxx that are between 100K and 125K registrants! Does anyone park their .PRO s at godaddy, using their "cash parking" system?

My .PRO domains do not get significant type-in traffic, but I parked one there anyway to explore the options.

I noticed there is an option to include a custom text link to a page of your choice. It's for people to make a webpage with contact and purchase information

There is also an option to have a standard link that opens a form so someone can use the (provided) form to ask you a question (sent to your email address). It looks like you can have a custom text link AND a contact form link at the same time.

This appears to be a convenient way to park a domain while having TWO ways for an interested buyer to take the next step. Without resorting to the whois.


FWIW, my cash parking "account" was included with something else I bought, so I didn't have to decide if the cost was worth it.
