I intimated that the negotiations were quite involved, quite involved, and I would love to give ALL the details as I normally dislike it when people are being vague. However, I understand totally now why people who are involved in sales that involve several people end up offering little facts after the event.

Anyone who knows the history of the name will know that the owner had previously turned down some very tasty offers.

All I will, and can, state is this most definitely was one of those five-figure sales that some people suggest never happen. I know, because I am now five-figures lighter and left wondering if I am the sap of the year or the smartest guy on the planet. (there's no need to answer that!)

I can also state one other thing for sure, it is soup and bread in the Jimbo household for the next few months.
