After being a member of Namepros for almost 12 years, it was an amazing experience to finally meet Namepros staff, and a blessing to have met @Eric_Lyon and his family this past Saturday. The meeting took place at a Starbucks in San Antonio, TX, and between the great coffee, great conversation and much needed laughter, a meeting that was supposed to last about 1 hour kept us engaged for over 2. We discussed domains, of course, and Eric is so splendid with sharing his knowledge, I almost felt guilty for everything I absorbed from him.
I’ve been involved with domain names for 15 years now, and in all those years of reading and researching, I learned more from Eric in just a couple of hours! It made me realize what a great forum this is, and even though it’s had its ups and downs throughout the years, there are still great quality people here, members and staff alike, that are willing to share their knowledge and keep encouraging others.
I am truly looking forward to my next meeting with Eric and his family, and also to meet other NP members from this area. I encourage other members to meet if possible, as it was a wonderful experience!
To all my NP friends, I appreciate your help, your prayers when I’ve needed them, and your patience!
Peace out!
