In regards to your opening question, it would be the course of wisdom to read and study about different aspects of SEO because generating traffic to a site is not just a one line answer. In addition to the Seo another aspect of increasing your website traffic is marketing. The info posted above has helped me in a variety of ways to get a better grasp and understanding of some things I needed to do in order to generate traffic to my sites that I manage. Spamming forums works super for traffic.

I have my own patent pending technology Let me share it with you here. What I do is that I keep hitting F5 on the page I want to generate the traffic :D

It just increases page views though Not the unique visitors.

Put a forum on your site. Get a lot of links so you have a PR of at least 3-5. You'll get on all the lists of "high PR forums" and visitors will flock to you from all corners of the earth. You'll never be lonely again!

You can search for cheap and worthless traffic brokers that will send 10,000 hits to your site for $10.00. There are plenty of them around. Or you can spend time and money stealing pictures and articles from other websites and attempt a Google Adwords campaign.

It also increases the bounce rate of your website.. :lol:
