Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I didn't get that, I own Bunq.com, wanted to have Bunk as a pair, but no way at that price.

It's was used as a hostel site in England with a lot of traffic; plus it's a generic. I wanted to get it, but it quickly went out of my price range :)

If that really ended at $79, then someone got a hell of a deal. Quad Premium with all top tier premium letters.

Brad

Is "L" really a premium?

Hi Alan,

You can certainly develop it if you want. It wouldn't have value unless developed, so if you have the time and energy, by all means :)

hdnf $109 (h+f killed it, it seems)
scii $730 (lots of acronyms, typo of ascii)

Do any of you guys feel like the price of quad premiums will continue to fall further? Within the past few weeks, I thought there was a general consensus that the 'minimum' (i use this term lightly) price was around $135.

In the past week, we have seen some lower sales for quads. For example, gdlb for $122, and hdnf for $109.

I would have expected the prices of quads to somewhat follow the price of the stock markets. As the markets (specifically North American) continue to rebound like they have over the past 4 months, we have failed to see and drastic rebound in the price of quads. Is my belief unfounded, that the prices are linked to the performance of stocks? And with the prices continuing to fall, does anyone see a lower threshold for them and LLLL.com's as a whole?

What will it take for a rebound of LLLL.com prices? Is the simple answer 'time'?

This month, I sold 5 quads on Sedo; they brought about $140 each. Not as much as I'd hoped, but I guess it's better than $109!

I think CH is the country code of Switzerland. China's country code is CN.

deno $7,700 (Sedo .. 2 bidders)
anni $7,500 (Sedo .. 1 bidder)
inag $655 (SN)
ccrm $325 (Sedo)

Yes, your belief is unfounded. These are closely linked to prices of low quality LLLL.com and low quality LLLL.com's are more like the sub prime loan market than the stock market. The highly speculative boom time stuff won't come back in a hurry, people will not throw money at "flip" names like they used to and very few will want to pay the renewal fees on these names. Expect the focus to be on real profits (ie outside money) for a long time. In short the world has changed.

Personally I think these (quads) will move to around $50 over the next year or so.

Any special reason for this? I mean, for this price?

deno $7,700 (Sedo .. 2 bidders)

Used to own this domain around 2 years ago, sold for less than half at that time, since then there were about 3 new owners and I don't think any of them lost money on it. Great progress!

Snoop,

I very much doubt the $50 theory for quads:

- Most of them are at least 5 years old, just the renewal fee is nearly that much
- Most of them have multiple acronyms, and great end user potential

What happens with the all premiums is that domainers started to pay less for the ones with the letters F,H,G and those that have very few Google results and acronyms if at all, on the other hand the high end is doing very well in my opinion.
