About one month ago, Estibot's valuation of the domain increased from mid $x,xxx to low $2x,xxx. I would appreciate hearing your estimates of the value of the name, and why you think the value increased so dramatically.
I have read a great deal about the (lack of) accuracy of free domain valuations, and I am curious as to your opinions about this name and the valuation.

Estibot changed their algorithm a little while back which is probably which coincides wth the increase you saw. That being said, free valuation tools are not very accurate and should be used for entertainment only.

As for the domain itself, ZQK is the ticker symbol for Quicksilver on the NYSE so that in itself probably gives teh name a lot of traffic and a potential big enduser to target.

I also believe that ZQK would be considered an excellent combination for China, even though the letters Z,Q are non-premium in the US.

To a reseller, you might get mid to high X,XXX if somebody thinks they can sell in the chinese market but for US, I'm thinking on the low end.

Those are not premium letters.

Wholesale right now you are looking at $3,400-$4,150. Hold on to it, wait for the market to come back.

Best bet would be to target end users for the ticker symbol.
