.mobi YouTube Mobile - Launching June 2007 - but Google doesn't own YouTube.mobi

BUT ... YouTube.mobi is owned by Qilu Tang of China.

So as of now it doesn't look like they'll be getting the .mobi and using it for the YouTube Mobile.

That's not good news for .mobi.

YouTube has been already working closely with mobile carriers, and handset makers such as Nokia on the mobile version of their video service.

Isn't Nokia one of the investors in the .MOBI and supporting infrastructure? :gl:
