hi all,
I'm starting as taxi driver next week, here in the UK. Its mainly so i can work around some business projects. 2 are web based, the other is non web based.
It got me to thinking, about taking the "bulls by the horns" & just trying things out.
I have tried somthing before, with a friend. Selling remote controls. It was a on & off line business, dropshipping. we started with with a website & a market stall in a shopping centre ( mall ) the position was the not greatest. The website was quite good looking. the site never really took off.
We got into everything, remotes and everything to do with tvs. For six weeks we gave it our best shot. BUT IT DIDNT WORK. we made enough to cover the stall. looking back now, i think maybe we should of looked for a better position for the stall & paid for adwords. It was 2000, i hadnt a clue about web development or SEO.
I'm glad i gave it go, i've also learned a few things which will help me out during my new projects!!
I think giving it your best shot & knowing when to walk away ( if you have too! ) are ingrained in my mind for ever.
TO BE CONTINUED.......................( HOPE NOT! )
whats your experiances
