Hello

I have finished my new project, and was wondering if you could take a look.
I hope everything works okay!
Your constructive comments would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi, do you think you could take a screen shot of that, and post it up?
What browser are you using?
Thanks

First, it loads fine for me.

I like the layout, it looks very professional. My only annoyance is that the height is fixed, and i've never thought that to be very pleasant. On my high resolution, it looks like as if half the page is just blank grey background. I'd rather see it stretch to my screen or if my screen is shorter, then make it overflow w/ scroll. this would also remove the scrollbar that you have in your page. on that note, the scrollbar doesn't match the rest of your color scheme at all - the blue default seems slightly tacky, but that's an easy fix with just some css styling (however i think it still doesn't work in firefox... so i'm not too sure what to do with that). another suggestion would be to perhaps add rollovers for your links at the top. it looks nice the way it is, but i like graphical feedback showing me whether or not i'm on a link other than just a change in the cursor. again, a simple fix with css.

Thank you very much for your comments.
I will look into sorting the problems you have mentioned.
Can I ask what resolution your screen is?
Thanks

PS, by sorting the height issue be just a case of putting "height: auto" in the CSS?
I am not an expert in web design, and I am learning as I go along!

I run at 1280x1024.

Get Google Analytics on that site ASAP, it'll give the majority of your user's resolutions so once you find the average (if you can't get the height full) you can base it around that resolution.

height: auto makes it size to how far the content goes - you can try height: 100% instead but i've run into problems with that occasionally not functioning as desired.

Some color besides black and white would be nice?

I agree with NasaBoy

The smallness is really annoying on my 1280x1024 resolution...

I'm digging your logo, the building and smog pipes.

Under the news section, I think maybe the dates should be sized down a bit, 12th January 2009, is pretty much the largest and boldest text on the entire page.

The layout change from the front page to the menu items is drastic and some users might feel they have been transfered to another site completely... maybe try making the front page header similar to the phpBB pages?

I really like the name, Workhoo.com definitely catchy
