nice first impression, large design and in your face, the color scheme and layout works well and it's easy to find your way around

however, i think the gradient for the category headers is too harsh and needs toning down, maybe change the color combination slightly

if i was doing it i'd also look at changing the nav menu slightly so it looks a bit more eye candy-ish rather than just text links

other than that though, nice work
