Can you check out http://www.soadtalk.com and let me know what I should do to improve on it etc...

What do think of the way things are laid out, can they be improved? The colours, should they be changed etc... If you could tell me then i'd be most grateful and I will also give positive rep.

The main content column is a bit lower than the two at the sides, you may want to try to fix that. I also tidied up your keywords for you:

the gaps between the side columns and the middle column are far too big imo.

the navigation is all over the place. you have links left, right and centre. maybe have a section purely for navigation links. for instance, the bios at the top kinda stick out, and then you have band, media, site etc all spread out. get all the links on the left hand side, and have the account and vote on the right. the bios at the top can go on the left, under the link bios, as an indented list.

the album covers are pretty low quality at the top as well, maybe make them larger, and maybe even clickable (to link to a song list, maybe), so people who are new to SOAD can get what they are.

I love the logo you have though!

The right hand login box is a bit too far towards the middle. I would make it more to the right of the page. Otherwise, site looks good.

I am using IE6 and the site works fine, no trouble viewing the website. Easy navigation, except that you used black a lot.

Overall, your site looks good, tested on IE6 1280x800.
