The title says it all!

This thread is for showcasing:
  1. Domains you got via expired domain auctions.
  2. Domains you hand-registered (handreg) after they're deleted and available again ("out in the wild").
  3. Domains you backordered.

If you have a "story" then share it too. We get bored once in a while.:xf.grin:

Yeah so.. as the title says, I got 2 domains from expiring auctions.

Economic (dot) me. I put this up for sale now.

TALES (dot) CO.

I got these 2 domains for less than $20 each. I think they are good enough for the price. Cheers!

@Avtar629 When you get Word + VR- the Word part is usually a brand name. VR + Word is usually better to demonstrate a niche. So VRExam.com (Virtual Reality Exam) would have been much better than ExamVR.com (Exam Virtual Reality which doesn't make much sense as a sentence and likely no company will call itself 'Exam'). That's probably why you got the backorder. Having said that- people might still search for 'exam vr' in the future so the domain might sell.

Well.. i got super lucky..

Was scouring GoDaddy for good/cheap/hidden gems. Stumbled across one that I think will be a great flip. I bought VSAT.org for a grand total of $19.

Estibot has it valued at $5100

Free valuator has it valued at $11,072

BBLaws.com and Sofras.com. I reckon both of them have potential with a bit of outbound elbow grease. What do you think?

Picked up AfterworkSocials.com in the wild. Found at expireddomains.net drop.

This has been discussed and solved already thanks. And this thread is allowed.

Just read the "fine print" on both threads and you will see the differences. Thanks.

This is expired domains picked up at expired domain auctions.

The other thread does not specify this. Although it did morph into adding expireds.

Decided by users.

Sure... Good luck with the thread

@Avtar629 In 'Go VR', 'Go' can be the company name. I actually don't own that one. I own 'Up VR' where again 'Up' can serve as the company name or an acronym. 'Exam' probably won't be a company name, that's why it makes more sense after the word VR instead of before it. But... you never know. I certainly wish you a great sale.

Yeah there you go! I knew it was some awesome 4L like that. I'm a fan when I first saw it

How much you expect to sell such a gem?

Probably a great story behind it.
