Hello all,
I have quite a few domain names that I am wanting to try and develope "something" on them.

Please could you give me your opinions, and tell me what you think is the easiets way to do this?

* Am I maybe looking for a WYSIWYG web page creator?

* I am looking for some sort of "mini site", that with a bit of SEO might get my static domain names a few hits?

* I am wanting to sell all my domain names on, but I think I might have a better chance of selling some of the names in a few months if the page is "developed" and it might have had some hits?

* I am wanting to do this with about 30 names, so the quickest, easiest, and most beneficial way would be a great help.

Thank you

Is this not in the correct section?
Where would I need to post this to get a reply?

Try Wordpress, should be easy if you know how to go about installing them, using themes etc.

OR

You should be able to write content, work with images to create headers etc. and know a little bit of HTML too.

A lot depends on what you really want to achieve with the development, decide on how you'd like to monetize it.

More importantly, work on a plan on how you think you can promote them.

Minisite recipe

A simple Minisite recipe

Making the cake
- Get a good name that has at least someone searching for it.
- Get a cheap hosting (go for shared hosting) and install wordpress and get setup on some free themes (templates)
- Now put some damn good original content. Atleast 5 of them. If you can't write it, get it written or buy from someone.

Now the icing
- Put the website link on anything and everything you can get hold of.

Sit back and enjoy. If everything goes as per plan, you might be able to add $5 extra value to the name :)

When the renewal time arrives, make sure that you now need to renew both the domain and the hosting.

Wordpress as mentioned above.
IF you write your own content (or have it written for you), you'll do better off than autoblogs. But, autoblogs are ok if you're looking for something quick.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at Weebly. You think this would be ok to use for a couple of sites?

I was looking at Weebly.

I think Weebly is a great tool. I do the WordPress thing for some sites but use Weebly for really fast publication. It also makes a good prototyping tool. Since it is so easy to add/delete/edit pages and move them around I can use a Weebly site to organize my thoughts.
