YoTube.mobi - TM Issue?

If i develope this domain into some sort of mobile video sharing/viewing site will i encounter TM issues?

Nowhere will it state the mighty YouTube nor will be it be anything like it... Possibly a hip-hop/rap music video download site for your mobile device?

Please give your opinions, thanks a lot.

This name is confusingly similar to a well-known brand.
You may have problems down the road, even if you use the domain for a totally different purpose. IMO don't keep it...

Thing is... the .com version of my domain is parked through parked .com's service and it uses you tube as some of its keywords, i mean... my intention is not to get type-o or type in traffic.

Would it be smart to contact youtube/google and personally ask them before its too late? the domain is only 2 hours old.

Please keep me updated as soom as possible so i know what to do, also i dont do anything stupid by accident. Thanks a lot.

Just because somebody else is infringing on a trademark doesn't mean that you should, or that it is safe to do so.

Yeah... they'll be thrilled to find out that someone wants to use a near duplicate of their trademark in the .mobi TLD for a video download site.

Anyway, Google won a dispute for a few domain typos of their mark itself. It's
around here somewhere.

Anyway, I agree that its not worth the trouble. But if you devlop the site for something totally different. EG: selling Tube shirts and image stuff, there is a chance of running away withit.

lol...complete TM issue and if you want to deal with legal hassles go for it. The funny thing is these ill-conceived sites never make sense to me.

1. Using a mobi for site.
2. Using a TM for the domain.
3. What's the upside?

Doubtful your site will make any real money. Why not make an original site where you actually stand a chance of making money long-term?
