Ok I'm no expert on this but here's my thoughts. LLL.com are sought after no matter what the letter combination. In this case 2 of the letters are the same which makes it more valuable and it is pronounceable. The clincher for me however is that Yii is a Chinese name and could very well fetch you a tidy sum!

Cheers,

Len.

You should take a look at namebio.com this will give you an idea of the prices that LLL.com's are being sold for. Once you have an idea and you want to sell you have the choice of either. (1) Contacting the prospective buyer(s) and ask what they are offering. If it's somewhere in the region of what you have in mind then double it and negotiate from there. (2) You can place it on auction with Sedo for example. Set a reserve, contact those who are emailing you and tell them it will be on auction. (3) Sit on it, do nothing and wait until you get an offer you cannot refuse!

Cheers,

Len.

Seems like it could be quite valuable. Of course LLL.com are sought after by many, added to the fact that the domain is pronounceable and has 2 letters which are the same it should be worth $xx,xxx to the right person.

Welcome to Namepros, CMSports.
Yii.com is brandable to the extreme. Forget the 'y' being a not-prime letter, Yii is a killer word, short for Yikes, playful for comedy shows/movies, scary for horror/suspense, well-known, and there are many, many companies who would love this as a name to represent their online presence.

I've seen much more mediocre LLL go for between 5,xxx - 15,xxx. Don't be hasty with your name. Almost any reseller who could afford it would give you 5K for it in a heartbeat - and I would ;). But you absolutely should not sell for less than 15K as a base minimum, and only if you're in a hurry to buy that expensive medication to get your infections cleared up :)

Best to ask for a lot of advice on how to efficiently reach bidders for this one. Don't be in a hurry. A few more weeks or months of work, will increase greatly the price you'll get for this one. Your ace-in-the-hole is this: you know that if a FEW people have been searching you out and making bids or asking about prices on your name, then a LOT of people will be interested if you just find a way to let them know about it.

Excellent name, you'll do well with it. Won't make you wealthy (unless you do some killer development), but will buy you the new car.

DragPix or DragPics would have had some small value, but dragPixs has zero, IMO. Even developed, too easy to make many typos of it.
Make some killer kash off Yii, then use some of that to invest in safer, defensible names that already exist, even better if they have existing traffic too.
And hang out more at Namepros; you'll learn a lot more about the game and will make less and less mistakes.

Care,
Ban

Great thanks Ban

I hear what you are saying.. I have had this domain name Yii s stolen 3 times years ago.. someone in China wanted it really bad that they.. back then put my logo on a letter head and mail it to Networks Sol..

If I knew who and how to get this into that market.. I'm in no rush had it for 10 years what a few more months of R & D.. I would love to develop it, one day.. and or have help doing so.

Here another good one comes in 2

CMSports.com

once again thanks for your help..
