Yarn - The story telling game!

This is a fun game that I used to play. All you have to do is create a story by adding a part of the story to the post above you. For example, if I write

There once was a knight that lived in the forest

* Then the person below you would add to that

He wanted to buy alot of domain names.


Here's a starting for you




There was a man that lived in Chicago.

in a cardboard box, on Lower Wacker Drive.

And he needed some way to make money.

As he was walking down the street he saw a strange man sitting in a diner sipping coffee looking intensely into his laptop wearing a white baseball cap with a funny looking insignia, it looked light some sort of light bulb that got struck with lighting. He said to himself, let me see if I can get a dollar from this guy......

but the guy suddenly transformed into a werewolf

"GROWL" he roared.
Only to his dismay at the kids laughing at his silly costume.

Well, those kids laughing at him really embarrassed him. That reminded him of a time when he was in Junior High, in the school cafeteria, when everyone was laughing at him because...

He had awkward features and people used to throw stones at him and eggs on him. He was frustrated with his life. He did decided to commit a suicide but then thought of a namepros thread. Without him being the main character the thread would not have gone far. So he put the suicide thought out of his mind and started thinking about positive things in his life.

Suddenly he felt he had some exceptional powers. He was feeling great from inside and his self confidence was roaring from deep inside.

He kept to himself for most of the times. He ignored those people who used to throw stones at him and eggs on his head. He suffered a lot of pain in his life and he was on the verge of giving it up again and thought of just blowing the whole village up to take his revenge with them.

In that period of time he met one guy who was a saint and was preaching the people about god and its powers. He thought if god could only give me one chance then I will prove that I am worthy of it.

He went into a temple and cried in front of god begging for mercy and for a better life. Suddenly a bright yellowish light appeared on the horizon and way behold.... He was turned into a nice young and handsome looking guy. He also got a bag full of gold coins.

He came back in his village and everyone was shocked. Most of them thought that this cannot be him. He started a small orphanage from the money he got. Everything was going nice and smooth and then suddenly one day......

And he died... But his ghost came back.....

Dripping with sweat, he awakes to a dark room. He decides to see the doc the next day.
"Doc, a little birdie told me I need anti-halluciation pills"...

He is a ghost now..........
