I owned this domain
yahoopublisher.info
Will I face any TM issue with this domain
I registered it with ignorance of TM issue
Only planning for future development when Yahoo publisher network becoming more popular.

Only now I realised that I might be in a situation.

Please give me your 2cents.

You'd better develop it now rather than wait for Yahoo to find out.

I'd personally just get rid of it while you are ahead.

Ummm, cause Yahoo developed the product/service which is called Yahoo Publisher. Unless the name of the owner for the domain is in fact Yahoo Publisher, the chances are good he will lose it if Yahoo decides to go after him.

I see you are new to this, I suggest you do some reading on the subject before you try to speak again. Lookup "trademark infringement"

No, but it won't have any hits either

If you are intentionally (or even unitentionally) trying to take commercial advantage of a registered trademark, you are liable for your actions. If you register a horrible typo, like said name above, then you're both wasting your money and time.

NwS - Myself and many others do not mind helping others at all. We are not lawyers (actually, there are a couple), but have researched and discussed at length about TMs. Most of it is common sense. but when someone asks a question that is TM101, most of us roll our eyes and and say to ourselves "Here we go again".

You first question was why the poster would have TM issues? I answered it. Then you came back with 2 posts that was sarcastic in nature which comes off like being a smart**s, at that point you no longer are adding to the discussion. I told you to research.

I advised looking up trademark infringement and read all the other threads about TMs because we will be saying the same things over and over. You questions are, for a lack of a better word, TM101. The very basics of TM law. I am not a lawyer, but I do know the subject quiet well due to my research and dicussion (plus the many threads I read where a lawyer has given his opinion). Plus I've read many WIPO dicisions (yea, the whole document) just so I can learn. Do I or anyone have all the answers? no, but we can help others with our knowledge.

But when you post the way you did, don't expect too much response in return.

I dont think you will have any problems as long as you say you are not affilirated with them or flame them.

No actually i made a simple question. See Element up there thinks the same as i do ^^.Sarcastic? Of course after the "I suggest you do some reading on the subject before you try to speak again" needed the answer you got.
My way of asking it was ok. Noone else said anything about the way im asking..

Thanks and Bye,
NwS
