Depends on what I am doing. I like Google news and if looking forsomething very speific.
I follow several topics to see what is is going on/ keep an eye on my competition. I find Google results seldom change and after the first few pages so many 'dead links'. Frustrating case study:
I have a site ranked # 4 and the 2 of the results above me are from the same site which has not changed content in years. My PR is higher than theirs.
Google IMHO has problems but as with AOL you can sell a poor product with enough hype.
I am moving more to MSN as their results seem to be fresher. I go directly to MSN and submit new sites. Usually I will see the site spidered in a day. EXCEPT I can't seem to get 3 .cc sites listed there. I have a .info which went live bit over a month ago & now has #6 on MSN (roseville pottery). It is lost somewhere in the Google nither nither land. Google must think I am a spammer as I have many pages of good relevent contet and add more about once a week.
For most of my sites SE hits are usually Google, MSN, Yahoo or MSN Google, Yahoo.
Google is overrated. MSN is slow but better results. Only time I go to Yahoo is to check that I haven't slipped.
