Yup, but remember when registering, i am 90% sure there arent pushes, and you have to pay to transferr out, i may be wrong, but is it worth saving $2 and end up paying $5 more next year?

I think what google may do is something like

Get [email protected] which will go to your gmail account, aswell as blog.yourdomain.com going to your blog on blogger, and yourdomain.com going to your hosting account with google (they will make hosting i think)

I dont think they will do hosting. IF they did hosting then for sure they would offer dn registrations,
